Do you give vitamins?

A friend of mine who's sick DD is going to miss her first day of kindergarten tomorrow was talking about vitamins today. And I was just wondering how many parents give their kids something in an attempt to avoid germs? I was thinking about some kind of vitamin c drops/gummies/etc.

Both of my kids get a multivitamin every morning with breakfast.

My DD takes gummy vitamins each night before bed, mostly because she is a super picky eater and we need to make sure she gets all the nutrients she needs.

I don't, actually. Now that they're older, both my kids eat a pretty healthy, balanced diet. I used to find it hard to get 5 servings of veggies a day into them when they were younger, but we're probably pretty close to achieving that goal on a regular basis now. And they both drink plenty of milk and eat dark, leafy greens willingly. It gets a lot easier as they get older.

My kids usually get 1 or 2 colds per year. In 1st grade, my son didn't get sick at all. He had perfect attendance that year!

All 3 kiddos eats pretty well, but at the last Pedi appointment he suggested we do a multivitamins and an Omega 3 for all of them, so we have been giving it to them now for a few weeks.

My son gets a multivitamin every morning and has since he was a toddler (now 8). I buy whatever I have a coupon for, but it's usually flintsone gummy vitamins. He is rarely sick.
