Nick name game

Do you have a cute nick name from your spouse? Or had a funny nick name in school? What's the meaning behind it? I'm Aurelia (A-Rail-Ya) online I go by Cajuntwist because I'm a bayou girl from Louisiana. In "real life" haha my nick name is Fiya cracker. I have a horrible potty mouth and I used to play softball. Oh how I miss that :(

    I started calling my husband 'sir' somewhat sarcastically and it stuck. Now DD will call him that on occasion (the same way she calls me by my first name & thinks she's clever).

    DHs nickname is Turkey... Long story. My name is Nicole and DH calls me a number of things but usually it's "cola"

    @seattleMomma part of it has to do with the fact that he is Turkish the other part is that he is always trying to negotiate his way into or out of things. One rather amusing negotiation related to bedroom activities landed him the nickname permanently.

    Nothing fun but DH calls me babe all the time. If my DS (3) gets impatient with me he will yell for me by calling me babe. Stinker!

    He just calls me "babe" and I play a game where I come up with ridiculous pet names for him on a regular basis. Ex: snuggle-butt, angelfish, poopy-pants, sugar bottom, puppy face, etc. it's hilarious... For me. :)

    My hubby just calls me babe all the time but when I met him because he's from England,I didn't understand him and he didn't understand me so he would constantly say "what you saying"? Babe in a very strong English accent. Now his name is "what you saying"? Babe= wys my screen name. It's funny when I call him in public, people look with a confuse face lol but it stuck with me. Now we totally get each other.

    I have a String Southern accent and my bf is constantly asking me repeat myself. I use slang and Southern terms ALOT. He's hasn't a damn clue lol

    I call him Hubbs. He calls me wifey. Lately he's been calling me pineapple. I had a pineapple on my shirt the other day and I guess I was acting prickly? We both have called each other face for as long as we've been together. It's a derivative of the ever-classy conversation: "I'm bored." "Your mom's bored!" "Your face is bored!" "Your mom's face is bored!" And on from there. It's perfect because it's a name, an adjective (you're being facey), a noun (don't be a face), and a verb (are you facing me?!?). It's also a term of endearment or a way of calling each other a jerk while still saying I love you, depending on our mood. It's perfect.

    I'll share, but I'm always hesitant because I'm slightly ashamed...

    My husband and I call each other "Baby-prease". It started a couple of years ago, when we were already "Babe" and "Baby". My husband is a mix race of Irish/French/Chinese, and our best friend is from China. They were being silly, making fun of Hello Kitty souvenirs when our friend came back from visiting his family. My husband jokingly asked me, "Can we get some Herro Kitty stuff, Baby...prease?" It just stuck, and I'm always embarrassed to explain it to people, lest they think we're racist, which we clearly are not.

    My fiance and I call each other Baberson or sometimes Baber. I'm not really sure how it got to that, but it sounds weird to hear each other say our real names now!

    DH calls me Jazzy most of the time. My given name is Jezebel, which I cannot stand, so I typically introduce myself as Jessie. Well, DH dislikes Jessie, says it's too boyish, I'm not at all tom-boyish or anything. So Jazzy, it is. Sometimes, he calls me Saucy, I guess because I can be outspoken.

    I typically call him my Sweetums or my Stinkems.

    DH & I just go by babe for each other.  I do have a funny nn from work though, since my name is Laurelyn people think its to long so they changed it to double L and that slowly became Dubz.  One of our friends little girls actually calls me Aunty Dubz, I couldn't believe it when I heard it lol.
