So, hi.

in April 2014 Moms

I've been told I should come and intro here. I'm Joyfully. I have a 1.5 year old daughter, and I'm a regular over on the SAHM board. I'm due April 28th '14 with #2, so I'm 5 weeks today. Woot woot! Umm... DH and I will be married 3 years in October. We live on an island on the west coast of Canada. Currently I'm staying home with our LO, which is awesome, but I'm a registered nurse by trade. We have a cat and some chickens. 

Ummm... Is there anything else you want to know? Looking forward to getting to know you ladies!

    Hiiiii and welcome! What area do/did you work as a RN when you aren't a SAHM? I'm a somewhat SAHM now finishing my last semester of nursing school, so I'm just curious :-)

    ETA: I work in Neuro ICU now and have for several years. I'm not sure if I'm going to stay there or not. I'd like to get into women's health/pregnancy/L&D

    Hi! I was a community health nurse, and that's what I'd like to go back to once our kiddos are a older. I enjoy the work a lot more than a hospital setting. I'm totally into women's health too, and L&D is where I originally wanted to be. Our province has a program for postpartum mothers though, and I did a lot of home visits to answer questions, help with breastfeeding, etc. I really loved it.
