  I know how you feel. We are having a garage sale in September and I've had many "suggestions" to get rid of some of my DDs old clothes and toys but I am just not ready yet. I say if you are in doubt or it makes you upset just don't do it right now. You can always change your mind later and give her some things but don't rush yourself if you're not ready to let go. Hang in there.

  I totally get it. When we moved, my husband was shocked that I had -- wait for it -- 16 bins of baby clothes. I kept everything. Everything had some memory attached to it. Nearly 4 years later and it still sits in our garage. 

  I agree with @KristyLynn26, if it hurts too much, don't let it go. I think going through and keeping the really special pieces is a great idea. But then again, if you want to keep everything, I think that's okay too.  Hugs!
