I have to do it...twin skin questionnaire.

In my recent state of unemployment I have been perusing other twin skin posts and figured one more wouldn't hurt (at least not any more than my back at this moment).  So indulge me if you will...

1.  How tall are you and what did you weigh pre-twin discovery?
2.  How many weeks did you measure at delivery?
3.  Did you get stretch marks and twin skin or just one twin perk?
4.  How long did you rent out your uterus for?
5.  C-Section or vaginal delivery?
6.  Was your twin pregnancy your first pregnancy?
7.  How much did you gain?

I suppose I could work on my first school assignment, but who am I kidding?  That is so not happening ;)

    1.  How tall are you and what did you weigh pre-twin discovery? - 5'3", 222lbs
    2.  How many weeks did you measure at delivery? - 47 weeks
    3.  Did you get stretch marks and twin skin or just one twin perk? - Both, but I got stretchmarks going through puberty as well as with my singleton
    4.  How long did you rent out your uterus for? - I delivered at 37w2d.
    5.  C-Section or vaginal delivery? - C-section due to breech Baby A
    6.  Was your twin pregnancy your first pregnancy? - Nope, it was my second
    7.  How much did you gain? - I lost 10lbs and then gained back 15 for a net total gain of 5lbs. I didn't gain any with my singleton (I actually lost 19lbs with him). Apparently my body does pregnancy differently than most other women.
    8.  How big were your babies? - A was 7lbs 12 oz. and B was 6lbs 5 oz.

    Eh, why not. I'm avoiding doing homework.

    1.  How tall are you and what did you weigh pre-twin discovery?
         5'6", weighed 175
    2.  How many weeks did you measure at delivery?
         51! My belly stuck straight out, it was amazing.
    3.  Did you get stretch marks and twin skin or just one twin perk?
         Neither! Wahoo!! My belly isn't toned by any stretch of the imagination but it's not too bad.
    4.  How long did you rent out your uterus for?
         36w6d
    5.  C-Section or vaginal delivery?
         Emergency c-section (abruption)
    6.  Was your twin pregnancy your first pregnancy?
         First
    7.  How much did you gain?
         27 pounds total but I was 10 pounds under my pre-pregnancy weight at two week       postpartum, thank you breastfeeding!
    8.  How big were your babies?
         They were both 6lbs6oz.

    3.  Did you get stretch marks and twin skin or just one twin perk? stretch marks on legs, no twin skin but I do have a pooch (although that was there pre-kids too, it just got bigger)

    Both. Stretch marks appeared at 29 weeks.

    C-section

    6. Was your twin pregnancy your first pregnancy?

    First viable pregnancy

    7. How much did you gain?

    35 lbs. I had GD so I stopped gaining weight after 32 weeks.

    8. How big were your babies?

    4 lb 14 oz and 4 lb 13 oz

    5'8" 165
    2. How many weeks did you measure at delivery? No idea. Huge.
    3. Did you get stretch marks and twin skin or just one twin perk? Lots of stretch marks and not so tight but not so terrible skin. 4 months post partum now and never going to wear a bikini again but not totally unhappy either. Fitting in my old jeans already.
    4. How long did you rent out your uterus for? 36 weeks
    5. C-Section or vaginal delivery? CS
    6. Was your twin pregnancy your first pregnancy? First
    7. How much did you gain? 72 lbs.

    2.How many weeks did you measure at delivery? 52 weeks my belly was huge!
    3.Did you get stretch marks and twin skin or just one twin perk? Yes to stretch marks. Mostly on my hips, thighs, and chest though. Not sure what twin skin is but I have a little pooch.
    4. How long did you rent out your uterus for 32 weeks 5 days due to preeclampsia
    5. C-Section or vaginal delivery? One of each :)
    6.Was your twin pregnancy your first pregnancy? First pregnancy that emceed with take home babies.
    7.How much did you gain?60 pounds

    3.  Did you get stretch marks and twin skin or just one twin perk? Twin skin.  I didn't get a single stretch mark.

    4.  How long did you rent out your uterus for? 38w2d

    5.  C-Section or vaginal delivery?  I had a failed VBAC.  My epidural wasn't in correctly, so after 32 hours of labor, two hours of pushing, and two attempts to flip a sunny-side up Baby A, I was too exhausted to push anymore.

    6.  Was your twin pregnancy your first pregnancy? No, my third.  My first ended in a late m/c.  My second produced my first DS.

    7.  How much did you gain?  54lbs

    8.  How big were your babies?  Both weighed 7lbs.  (3175grams and 3170grams)

    2.  No clue. We were with a perinatologist and got ultrasounds every few weeks, so they never did abdominal measurements. 
    3.  No twin-skin - and not really any additional stretchmarks (I'd already had two other kids previously)
    4.  37w2d
    5.  Vaginal - both head down
    6.  No, see above
    7.  About 14lbs net on delivery day - after delivery, I had a net loss of around 35lbs (so, doing the math, that would be nearly 50lbs I lost on the day of delivery - so I'd call the actual gain 50lbs)

    No measurements taken. Effing huge.

    Stretch marks everywhere. Jury is still out on twin skin since I'm just about 9w pp but prob yes if I had to guess.

    34wks

    5.  C-Section or vaginal delivery?

    Emergency c/s. baby A was breech, my water broke and his cord prolapsed.

    6.  Was your twin pregnancy your first pregnancy?

    No, I have a 3yo DS

    7.  How much did you gain?
    60lbs

    3) yes finally got them after delivery
    4) 32 weeks ( had mono/mono twins) wasn't allowed pass 32 weeks
    5) c section for sure
    6) yes first and last no drugs use

    Stretch marks on my sides. I couldn't see them until after delivery so I thought I had won!

    Stretch marks popped up a few days after delivery. I thought I was in the clear :( I have a little bit of a pooch, but I'm only 6 months PP and am optimistic it will get better.

    36 weeks

    Vaginal
    6. Was your twin pregnancy your first pregnancy?
    Yes
    7. How much did you gain?
    Not that much, maybe 35-40.

    My Mfm never measured my fundal height. I was pretty huge

    My belly button is a little deeper than it used to be and I still have a little bump but no stretch marks or twin skin.

    2. How many weeks did you measure at delivery? They didn't measure at delivery but I consistently measuread about 12 weeks ahead....so I would guess about 49 wks.


    3. Did you get stretch marks and twin skin or just one twin perk? Both! I didn't get a single stretch mark on my belly (got a ton on my calves from fluid/swelling/pre-e) until the week of delivery, and even then I only got a couple...they all came after.


    4. How long did you rent out your uterus for? 37 weeks 2 days.


    5. C-Section or vaginal delivery? C-Section.


    6. Was your twin pregnancy your first pregnancy? Yes, first and only.


    7. How much did you gain? 70ish lbs (30 of which I lost from the delivery alone).


    8. How big were your babies? 8lbs and 6lbs 9 oz.

    My twin skin looked worse as I lost weight and my stretch marks didn't show up until after delivery.  In all honestly,  2 1/2 years later, I still have 10-15lbs to lose and I think my belly will look worse once I lose it (though I still hope to lose it!). I have diastasis recti which probably doesn't help (thought it's improved a bit). I'm not thrilled with my body post-pregnancy at all and I actually had to have back surgery shortly after delivery...but I'd do it all again for the big healthy babies I've been blessed with.

    2. How many weeks did you measure at delivery? I measured 47 weeks the week before I delivered. 

    3. Did you get stretch marks and twin skin or just one twin perk? A little of both, but nothing too drastic

    4. How long did you rent out your uterus for? 36 weeks 2 days

    5. C-Section or vaginal delivery? C-Section (planned RCS, would have needed it anyways due to position of babies)

    6. Was your twin pregnancy your first pregnancy? 3rd (1st ended in m/c)

    7. How much did you gain? 55lbs (lost 35# by 2 weeks PP, the scale hasn't budged since then!)

    8. How big were your babies? 5lbs 13oz and 6lbs 10oz

    2. Can't remember how many weeks I measured at delivery... more than 43...

    3. Tons of stretch marks. Tons of twin skin

    4. 32 weeks, 1 day

    5. C Section

    6. First and only pregnancy

    7. I gained about 50 lbs

    8. Both babies were 4.5 lbs

    My babies are nearly 3 and my twin skin is still insane. I started working out fairly hard a year and a half ago, and while I look better with my clothes on, my twin skin is incredibly loose. I also have a nice diastisis and a hernia. I have heard in this part of Canada there is some coverage for tummy tucks, so I guess when the time comes to repair the hernia I will look into it then. When I do a plank the amount of skin that hangs loosely is exceptional. I regularly do planks as a party trick. People are impressed/disgusted!

    3.  No stretch marks, some stretched out stomach skin but I'm barely 2 weeks out

    6 feet. 132 lbs.

    I'm guessing 40 weeks. I measured 38 the week before I think.

    No stretch marks, skins almost back to completely normal. Might have diastasis recti, maybe find out at my 6 week appt on Friday.

    36 and 3

    Vaginal. No drugs.

    First pregnancy

    Gained 35 lbs. I'm back to pre-preg weight now I think.

    Babies were 5 lbs 4 oz and 5 lbs 10 oz. came straight home with us on day 2.
    Married to my dream husband
    Mom to 2 year old BG twins (Incompetant cervix, cerclage, and LOTS of bed rest)

    3. Did you get stretch marks and twin skin or just one twin perk? Nope. My stomach is far from toned even at prepregnancy weight but there isn't loose skin.

    5. C-Section or vaginal delivery? Vaginal
    6. Was your twin pregnancy your first pregnancy? First viable pregnancy. I had an early miscarriage before I conceived them.

    I would gladly trade our two month NICU stay for some stretch marks and twin skin.

    No stretch marks, but I think I'll end up with some twin skin when all is said and done (I'm still holding out hope that exercising my stomach muscles with a physical therapist will help a little, but I won't be starting that for a few more weeks :-/).

    Babies were born just shy of 38 weeks.

    5.  C-Section or vaginal delivery?
    Planned c-section. Baby A was breech and smaller than her brother the whole time, so it was pretty much a given.

    6.  Was your twin pregnancy your first pregnancy?
    First.

    7.  How much did you gain?
    32 lbs? Somewhere between 30 and 35.

    8.  How big were your babies?
    Baby A was 5lb 6oz and Baby B was 5lb 11oz.

    5/17/13 BFP!!! 6/6/13 - OMG its TWINS!

    Josie and Lexie were born on January 4, 2014 at 37w2d
    Josie was 5lbs2oz, Lexie was 4lbs15oz 
    Both had a 9 APGAR score with no NICU time
    Planned unscheduled C-Section due to both being breech
    We all went home on Jan 6th, 2 days after surgery

    3. Stretch marks started around 33 weeks, and yes, I have twin skin!

    4. Delivered at 36w 5d

    5'7" 147 lbs (I weigh 142 now - I attribute this to 800 trips up and down stairs everyday with two 10 month olds!)

    2.  How many weeks did you measure at delivery?

    They stopped measuring my belly around 34-36w but at that point it was around 40-42w

    3.  Did you get stretch marks and twin skin or just one twin perk?

    I had 0 stretch marks until 37w. I still have them around my belly button.

    4.  How long did you rent out your uterus for?

    38w2d

    5.  C-Section or vaginal delivery?

    Vaginal

    6.  Was your twin pregnancy your first pregnancy?

    Yes

    7.  How much did you gain?

    About 45lbs

    1.  How tall are you and what did you weigh pre-twin discovery?
    I'm 5'3" and I weighed 188 at my first OB appointment (183 pre fertility treatments)

    7.  How much did you gain? 17 lbs from my first OB appt
    8.  How big were your babies? A- 6lbs 13oz B-6lbs 9oz

    And as a bonus I present you a picture of said belly 9.5 mos postpartum.  DH is starting a photography business and I let him take some photos of me the other day. I am down to 175lbs now and could stand to loose another 20 lbs but am still 10 lbs less than prepregnancy but my stomach looks awful with all the loose wrinkly skin and stretch marks.

    3.  Did you get stretch marks and twin skin or just one twin perk? Neither, well maybe tiny bit of twin skin
    4.  How long did you rent out your uterus for? 30 weeks
    5.  C-Section or vaginal delivery? Vaginal
    6.  Was your twin pregnancy your first pregnancy? Yes
    7.  How much did you gain? 65lbs.

    7. How much did you gain? 47 lbs, which I lost by my 6 week postpartum appt. exclusively breastfeeding. Still losing, but I can still grab two handfuls of belly skin/ whatever this is. I'm 10 weeks out now.

    1) tall: 5'6, weight b4 Twins 142 2) measurement at Delivery: delivered at 35weeks 3 days and measurement at 38 weeks. 3) at 12 weeks post I did not get any stretch marks and no twin skin. 4) delivered at 35weeks 3days 5) C/S 6) twins were my 1st pregnancy 7) I gained 35 pounds 8) Babies were A) 4lbs 7oz and B) 5lbs 4oz

    02/10-low progesterone on 21 day bloodwork (5.2); on hold due to cyst
    04/2010-9/2010 6 failed Clomid cycles with TI (unmonitored)=BFN 4/10 SA= perfect
    8/10-HSG all clear
    9/10-started seeing RE
    10/10-Femara + TI= BFN
    11/2010 through 2/2011 IUI #1-3 Femara + Ovidrel=BFN
    03/2011 through 8/2011 BREAK CYCLES (had 8 babyshower to go to, house remodel, 30th b-day and College Graduation)
    9/2011-Started back to RE, waiting on cycle due to it being late, and work travel had to hold off IUI #4 till 10/2011
    10/2011- IUI #4 on hold due to cyst, 2 weeks BCP
    11/2011- IUI #4 (11-21-2011?) Femara + Follistim + Ovidrel=Converted over to T.I. (NO Trigger) due to too many follicles=BFN
    3 cysts due to follistim cycle
    January 2012=IVF #1 cancelled and converted to IUI #4 due to dominant follicles=BFNN

    Twin skin, no stretch marks, and I got it at 37 WEEKS, cut me a break world!  I had thought I was free and clear.

    39 weeks
    5.  C-Section or vaginal delivery?
    C, positioning, boo.
    6.  Was your twin pregnancy your first pregnancy?
    first
    7.  How much did you gain?
    53 lbs, i.e., 50% of my pre pregnancy weight
