Teething help

Anyone have any teething tips that really work. My almost 16 month old is have a ROUGH time with cutting her molars. Has been a LONG few nights. Tylenol isn't work. Teething tablets help for a brief time and she isn't interested in a cold cloth. I am in desperate need of help. Oh, and she is sick to boot. Has been running a 103+ temp for 2 1/2 days.

Definitely switch to ibuprofen instead of tylenol. Although tylenol is better for fevers, IMO, ibuprofen is an anti-inflammatory and therefore works better on teething. You can squeeze a drop of the dose onto your finger and rub it directly onto the gums before giving the remainder of the dose orally. That has worked much better for DD

Motrin.  Tylenol does nothing but Motrin before bed and he sleeps through it.
    This exactly.

  • Infants Motrin!!!! Its the only thing that helps with gum swelling and inflamation ( the actual pain problem) and relieves the discomfort. Tylenol did nothing for my son and isnt an anti inflammatory
