Nurseries and Baby Gear

US/ Canada policy.

I know that you can't use American car seats in Canada (other than for travel)
Is there any reason I couldn't ship most of my now unused baby stuff to my cousin, as we have stopped using it, or will before her baby arrives in five months?
I am talking
Mamaroo
Bumboo chair
Play mat
toys
A Uppa Baby vista stroller (I needed a double after a few months of use, we adopted a newborn, when DD3 was six months old, I also used my city select more)
ETC...
We are done having kids, and I would rather her use them, than sell them to somebody.

Re: US/ Canada policy.

  • Mostly yes. As you said the car seat is a no. Technically some cribs and playpen s could cause a problem but I've never heard of someone having an issue.

  • Walkers. The thing that looks like a exersaucer but with wheels on the bottom. Those are illegal in Canada. Besides car seats and the walkers, you're fine.
