problem with tooth coming in - WWYD?

DD has a tooth coming in (in the front, slightly to the side of the middle). I noticed the other day that her gum was bruised where the tooth is. It didn't seem to hurt when we touched it, so we thought she may have bumped her mouth or something and bruised it. Now, the bruise is gone but the top of her gum was bleeding a little tonight. The tooth hasn't come in yet, but it's about to break through.
