Pregnancy Safe Medication

Okay, I'm pretty sure I'm dying. Okay, maybe not, but I seriously would give my left arm for some DayQuil right about now. Crying

My sinuses are rock solid and my head feels like its going to explode. What meds can you take during pregnancy? I completely forget. I know Tylenol, but that wouldn't help.

Tea, soup, and even the Neti Pot aren't cutting through this one.

Boo. I know you were just saying how great the Neti Pot was for you yesterday.

Unfortunately I don't think there's any decongestant that is pg safe.

And sorry, I just assumed that congestion was causing the sinus pain. Is it a sinus headache?

I would call your Dr...they'll hopefully be able to tell you something you can take for relief. Being sick and pregnant is no fun!

Not sure how severe your congestion is, but I've been using a saline nasal spray and it seems to be helping. Hope you find relief fast!

Thank you for the links, ladies! I would call my OB, but I called them yesterday about the whole listeria recall thing because I ate at 2 restaurants that had recalled apples.....and now I feel stupid calling about a cold. lol

Get some EmergenC- it will help boost your immune system to kick it. Also, (I swear it works!) rub some vicks vapor rub on the bottom of your feet after your shower. I usually shower after bed, and put socks on over the vicks to keep it off my sheets, and this does miracles for your sinuses.

I have sinus issues too, so I feel ya. Last time around, my OB I think got sick of me calling and asking about meds.

My ENT just wanted to be safe ... I think alot more is okay to take then you think!

Ob said Sudafed was safe, I took two cause im miserable now im all worried. I never wanted to take any medicine, but i already have a weakened immune system cause of fibromyalgia.

I didn't even notice the 2012 and I was looking lol I had a feeling but my sleep deprived self saw April 2013 but also saw August lol I knew I was going crazy
