Rolling tummy to back first?

  My DS1 rolled tummy to back first and my DS2 rolled a few times that way, but is generally obsessed with rolling back to tummy.

  DD isn't rolling yet, but my DS rolled belly to back at 3-4ish months and didn't roll back to belly until AFTER he crawled (so like 9ish months).

  Yep, T did tummy to back several times at like 3 months. Then at 4 months did back to tummy and now that's all he does. I guess he forgot how to go the other way.

  Thanks for the info. It was crazy he never really "tried" to do it before this weekend. During TT on Saturday he was pushing himself up on his legs only, and then today rolled nonstop.   Lo did belly to back at three months and has never gone the other way. He just turned 4 months and ds1 did this too.

  DS has also only gone belly to back so far and he was 4 months old on the 16th.

  My lazy blob doesn't roll, but it's my understanding that rolling tummy to back first is very common.
