B & M Monday

Let's hear 'em!

Mine is that I just really do not want to go to work today. DS is already at his grandma's, so I just wanna stay home and sleep!

I only work today and tomorrow this week though, so I especially can't stay home. DS, FFIL, his girlfriend, and I leave Wednesday for Pennslyvania until Sept. 6th!

    DH's pick-up needs fixed. Normally, I won't care about the fact of having one car. DH can walk to work or I just stay home for the day. However, tonight was going to be my hotel night. So, unless it gets fixed by tomorrow noon, I won't get my mini-getaway with LO. Complete FWP.

    Baby wouldn't go back to sleep with a morning bottle so I am up and I wish I were in bed....

    My damn cat woke the baby up because he decided it was time for his wet food and started meowing at 6:00 am

    DH can't make a commitment as to whether or not we are going home for Christmas.  It's a 34 hr drive or 4 hr flight.  He wants to drive if we do due to the cost of buying 3 plane tickets (DS1 will be 2 this year) but I hate to think of driving over the Rocky Mtns in the winter, much less with 2 kids. Not to mention, I have what DH refers to as "trip ADD" and I feel a need to plan something.

    O now has a smartphone and watches the league while feeding baby girl a bottle... so I have to listen to it or leave the room.  I feel like I have been complaining about everything he does lately so I don't wanna push that button

    I don't want to sell my car. This is totally a FWP because I got a new one last week, but I have some weird, sentimental attachment to the old car that I've had for almost 15 years. I listed it on craigslist for more than it's worth... but people are still calling :(

    @snowflake91011 Yep.  He thinks we could make it in 3 days or less, but after hotels and getting new tires and chains for the drive, I think it will cost just as much.  That, and I really don't want to spend 6 days out of 16 driving.  He wants to wait until Oct or so to buy tickets, but I'm so antsy and feel like the prices are just going to keep going up.
