I just got back from our dating Ultrasound and it was amazing!!

A little background... My last period was April 3rd and after 120+ days of no period and negative pregnancy tests, my Dr. put me on Provera to jump start my period. DH and I thought we were headed for Clomid and fertility treatments, but then were SHOCKED to get a BFP on 8/9! We had no idea how far along I was, so we had a dating ultrasound today

It went well!! I am 6w4d and due on April 17th. Everything looked good and we have a heartbeat at 121. (I thought that sounded a bit low.. but they said it was normal!) Here is a picture our little blob/almost gummy bear baby

And I TOTALLY cried when I saw the screen.. the tech had to hand my tissues.. embarrassing!! (But I'm sure she gets it a lot haha)

Anyone else due on April 17th?

Congrats!!! I'm due on 4/17 as well. I don't get to see the OB for another week and a half, so it's good to see that a LO, as well as a heartbeat, is visible. Don't be embarrassed!!!

YES! I could very easily see him/her on the screen and see that little heartbeat going! And it's fun to have a due date twin

I have an appt this afternoon! But, I don't think there will be an ultrasound

I have my first ultrasound tomorrow (6W3D) can't wait to see the little bean! Everyone says you can "see" the heartbeat but I'm not sure how.

From what I can tell I'm due April 16. Which is also my moms birthday! Congrats! I am excited for my dating U/S!

Wow! So cool! I'm jealous of all you early u/s ladies! But, I guess I should be thankful that I am not considered high risk which means I have to wait another 3 weeks for mine. I am 6w3d today and I think my EDD is April 19th but maybe I'm off a day... We'll have to wait and see what the doc says.
