So with all the posts about maternity clothes and growing blump/bumps I was wondering if anyone is feeling the opposite? My bloat has gone away and I am still able to wear all my normal clothes comfortably. I was a little worried/discouraged when everyone was posting their blump pics on a previous thread because my stomach is still flat as a board. I know for FTMs it's normal not to show until much later but I'm feeling like the Lone Ranger here lol I'll be 13 weeks tomorrow and if it wasn't for the NT scan last week and my occasional nausea I wouldn't believe there was a baby in there. Anyone else??
Re: No blump?
Well, I was trying to lose weight before I got pregnant (after having knee surgery, random hairline foot fractures, and 2 herniated discs in my back, I was finally feeling good enough physically to do the amount of exercise my odd body requires to lose the fat), and I didn't get very far in that! So, I have a large amount of, er, stomach for the wee one to push through before I think I'll be able to say "Hey, that's not just me sticking out!" (And my mom so wonderfully reminded me that I was overweight when I told her I was pregnant - "Oh, it'll be so long before you so show anyway..." Thanks.)
I only had 4 pairs of pants that fit before this excursion started, and only one of them is being problematic right now and I think it's only because they close in exactly the wrong place.
I can't wait until I can say "Hey, I'm fat AND pregnant!" and have people not roll their eyes at me.
"I can see light at the end of the tunnel, but I hope it's not another bastard with a torch holding more work."

FWIW, OP, I still fit in all of my old clothes. If you look at the photo I posted last week, I have quite the blump, but my stomach always looks like that. I wear size 14 pants and flowy tops normally, and it all still fits. I haven't had any m/s, and I too sometimes wonder if there's a baby in there. I'm sure we will start to truly have bumps soon enough!
I'm 11 weeks
I literally laughed out loud with this.
