At our ultrasound today Baby B was holding steady at 1 week behind Baby A, but I think it stung a little bit that they assigned a percentage to it -- 23% growth discordance. I'm trying to be positive and think about how she has shown 3 weeks' worth of growth since our last growth check 3 weeks ago.

Fluid levels were lower on BOTH babies, so I'm really pushing myself to keep track of how much water I drink. Also, they did a cord flow Doppler on Baby B because of the discordance and said it was "abnormal" but that they usually don't do them this early and didn't have a lot to compare it to. :-(

Thoughts and prayers, please, as we go back for another check next Tuesday.

23w3d and going strong! Had appt with MFM and regular OB last week. Babies are doing good. They are measuring 1 & 1.2 lbs which is right on track. Still on bed rest, but it's ok. Both babies are kicking up a storm and I'm hoping DH will be able to feel them soon.

Best thing-Having two babies. Never thought we would even get one after all these years and we were blessed enough to get two.

Worst-All the extra worry and complications that come with a twin pregnancy. I'm a lucky one with di/di twins so not as risky, but still more worry than I would have expected with a singleton.

UPDATE

All seems good - we have an MFM appt this week to check on things. They are always the same size. There is a party on my right side today, which is making me happy, I have only heard from the left for a few days. I don't like it when they kick near my belly button, gives me a nauseous feeling. I am huge and now caught up and surpassed my weight gain schedule :S

QOTW

Looks the same as last week, so I will change up my answer: Best: the blessing of our family being complete with one pregnancy. Only having to abstain from my favorite activities (wine, running) for one set of 9 months. Worst: the rapid expansion of my body is so painful, among other pains. The extra worries and concerns.

36w1d. Had a bit of a scare last week. Baby A got a 6/8 on her BPP from not doing her fetal breathing. Went in the next day, and if she didn't improve, we were going to deliver. But both babies passed the next day with flying colors so here I sit and wait.

Baby A is almost 2 lbs smaller than Baby B and her fluid is low so I go twice a week now to the MFM or extra monitoring.

Regardless, I have no more than 2 weeks to go. I'm ready to be done though.

31 weeks this week with my mo-di girls. No complications at all so far. Next mfm appointment is tomorrow. I have weekly nonstress tests starting tomorrow as well as increased ultrasounds at the mfm, so everything is starting to get a little more intense! I am extremely tired and achy all the time. Oddly my appetite has decreased a lot the last couple weeks. I actually lost about a pound over the last week and a half. I'm still up 43 lbs so I'm not too worried, I just have no desire to eat at all these days and when I do, I'm either grossed out or I get full really fast or the heartburn kicks in after a few bites. I think I'm just ready for this all to be over.

21w3d here and doing really well. Still not feeling them as far as I can tell but my appointment at the MFM on Thursday went great. Heart rates were strong and they were moving up a storm. The doctor referred to my boy as a "bruiser" because he was 12 oz, while the girl was 11 oz. It was pretty cute and now I can't get the vision of them whacking at each other out of my head. Officially registered and began looking at paint colors for the nursery so it is starting to feel very real.

Best part: being able to experience being a mom to a boy and girl at the same time.

Worst part: If these end up being our only children, it all going to go by so fast. If we had two singletons, it would last longer. I am just so afraid that I am gonna blink and the next thing I know they will be off to college.

@Mcsweets - The MFM said that there was a possibility that both levels being low was partly due to dehydration, but they are also concerned about the placenta. I'm just trying to make sure I'm getting "enough", which I evidently wasn't, because I'm on my 8th 12oz glass of the day and feel like drinking water has been my full time job!!

Hi! No big new news yet. We have our MFM apt on Wednesday morning this week. Looking forward to seeing them on the screen again. I was a bit worried before our last (first ever) MFM apt. as I was only feeling movement on my left side. After the apt we learned that Baby A was up and down (feet down) and Baby B is a bit diagonal, so it explained why the movement was so pronounced on the left side. I have been feeling movement across the top of my belly, both on the left and right side, but only on the left side way down low. My hubby got to feel them move for the first time on the 15th, and our 15 yr old son got to feel them for the first time on the 21st, so they are both ecstatic. I'll fill in if we find out anything at the MFM apt on Wednesday morning.

QOTW: Best thing? Knowing that my babies will grow up with a playmate (their older brother just turned 15, so there won't be an "only child" like it was with him) Worst thing? Not being able to wear normal pants! I hate these dang elastic waist band pants, they never stay up! I am constantly walking around hoisting them up, feeling like one of those funky rock stars whose pants are dragging on the floor. Ugh! Oh, and not being able to see my "nether region" for bathing and cleanliness purposes. Sorry, but it's true.

Hello! can you add me? I am due April 11th!
Just found out that we are having twins and after 3 years of trying and finally deciding to do IVF we are over the moon! I am really scared of having another miscarriage but really trying to focus each day that I am PREGNANT TODAY and enjoy every moment of it! He also talked about there is always a possibility of a vanishing twin soo I am now thinking of that too.. But we saw both heartbeats soo I hope that is a good indication that they are both here to stay!

What is the best and worst thing about being pregnant with multiples?
I really can't think of the worst thing about being pregnant with multiples.
The best thing is we would have 2 by now soo it is nice to have 2 all in one : ) I am honestly happy no matter what we have because I was seriously afraid I would never be able to have kids.

Hi all!

Just a few days away from 34 weeks now and other than not being able to sleep well and just being achy in general, everyone is doing great. The girls are doing wonderful and as of 2 weeks ago they had only a 5% difference in size which the doctors were extremely happy about. They move a lot and sometimes leave me pretty sore, but it's so cool to feel them in there moving around all the time.

We are supposed to be scheduling our c-section date on our appointment Thursday. It seems so unbelievable that we are just a few short weeks away from them being here.

I'm 30 weeks tomorrow. Still on bed rest. I've got an appt on Wed but nothing fun, just a normal OB. In two weeks I'll start NSTs and all that good stuff.

I'm 33.2 and have an official delivery date- Tuesday, 9/3 assuming I don't go into labor or have a problem before then. One more week of HBR and then we get to meet the boys! We're looking at NICU time, but I'm just delighted that we're going to make it to September.

Not much to report this week, both babies are doing great as of my last appointment. Going in for a cervical check on Thursday because my cervix measured short at 16 weeks but then great at 18 so they're just keeping an eye on it. Can't wait to hear how big the babies are now since they were 11 and 12 oz at the 18 week appt.

QOTW: best- feeling both my babies moving all day and knowing that they'll always have someone to play with.
Worst- having my stomach grow so fast that it is literally painful

I am 16w6d today! We found out last week that we are having a boy and a girl!!!!!!!! We could not be more excited. I feel great too

My next OB appt is tomorrow so things are moving along.

23 weeks this week! one more week to another milestone not sure why I am so excited to reach 24 weeks but I am haha

Not much change still on modified bed rest. Have our next OB appt Thursday. Have had some decreased movement especially from baby b but I am thinking its because they are starting to run out of room in there. But aside from being totally uncomfortable we are all doing well and big brother is starting to get impatient to meet his two new little brothers!

I'd like to be added. I'm due 2/27 with di-di twins and hoping to find out sex in a few weeks. I've been on bed rest due to an ER trip on 8/18 due to heavy bleeding. Babies were fine and measuring perfect but no one could tell me the source of the bleeding. After a crazy time in the ER, my OB found a couple of SCH's the next day and I go back 9/4 to check on them.

Worst part: the complications. I had two successful pregnancies w/o complications and this has totally thrown me for a loop. The exhaustion is rough, too. Lately I get out of breath SUPER easy so that's something I'm learning to deal with as well.

Best part: the excitement.

Hi! I'm having di-di twins, due 2/12/14 but my doctor says late January will be more realistic. Finding out the sexes tomorrow! I've luckily had no complications--I just feel sick and fat all the time! But I guess that's normal

These will be my first (and only) kids!

I am 22 weeks. Not much to report, but I have an appt with my OB and MFM next week. Looking forward to those since it will have been 4 weeks since the last one! I'm always worried about them and I think my OB hates me. Literally hates me b/c I call about once a week to ask a question. He's got a very laid back attitude, which is good and bad. I called about decreased movement and he said "eh...not much we can do at this stage anyway". Ugh. Luckily, the movement has picked back up again. So I will patiently wait until Tuesday for my appt, so I can actually see them.

Worst thing? The anxiety. The exhaustion and the aches and pains aren't too fun either, but the anxiety outweighs them both!

Best thing? Feeling them move. The moments I can feel these little guys makes all the negative aspects disappear for a bit and I love it. Such an awesome feeling.

30w3d. We're in single digit weeks remaining. Everyone is doing great. I had an OB appointment today and checked out fine. Baby girl had the hiccups. Both are still breech. There's still some time, but their positions made the doctor think Baby A was unlikely to flip. I'm up to weekly OB appointments now and will start non-stress tests at 32 weeks.

I am due March 29 technically but we are hoping for March 15th.

We are about 9 1/2 weeks along and just got back from a work conference in Toronto where I did a lot of walking and standing carrying for around 13 hours a day. We are exhausted but seem to have made it through no worse for the wear. These will be our first, but we don't know the sexes yet. Sonographer thinks they are fraternal but not sure.

We have an appointment friday morning for exam and blood draw ( I hear its a lot of blood) I have a ton of questions now that the shock has worn off a little.

I haven't updated on here in a long while. But today I am 24w exactly with my b/g twins! I went to the MFM 2 weeks ago , and had a second anatomy scan...first one was at 17w and they said they wanted better measurements when the babes were a little bit bigger. They were both estimated at 15oz and everything is looking good. So they released me back to just keep seeing my midwife for growth scans and such unless anything was to arise. My next appointment is Sep 13th, and as always I can't wait. So exciting hearing about everyone else and their LOs!

Hello! I would love to be added as well. We found out we were having twins at our NT scan Thursday (12w6d) and it was a huge surprise. Our original due date is March 7th, but I have a feeling that may be changing

17 Weeks and doing great so far. We had a scan at 15w2d both baby boys looked happy & healthy. Both measuring 4oz each and very active! We wont have another scan until 21 weeks & I cant wait to see them again.
