There's always something to gripe about on Mondays. Tell me about it!

I'm feeling a little bitchy, how about you? Any bad juju starting your day? Wake up late, spill coffee, forget something? Anything from Friday or over the weekend that irritated you still lingering around? Maybe it's just Monday?

This should NOT be about anything pg or baby related. Those stories belong in the Throat Punch thread when it's posted.

I forgot something! I had a party at my house two weeks ago and my friend (who works at the same place I do) was awesome enough to bring delicious sangria. I texted him last night to see if he was in today (we both travel a lot) so I could return the pitcher... and I forgot it.

I still have hard poop and I know there's a lot of it still backed up in there! No real pain, but I can feel gas bubbles popping on the inside frequently. Occasional lower abd pain.

Working again today, it is my Friday though! I don't like going #2 at work. It's a weird OCD-like thing, I don't like going poo anywhere but at home. It might be a baaaddd day at work if my stomach finally decides to release..

The rain!

I have an interview today at 10am and this rain is really messing shit up. My hair is uncontrollable frizzy and I sorta feel like I look like some sort of life size troll doll.

Also, I spent all weekend "practicing" my high way driving. I have an irrational fear of high ways and because this place is 15 minutes away by freeway and 1 hour by public transport I decided it was time to just get over it. Dh was kind enough to "teach me" high way driving so I wouldn't be as freaked this morning. Rain - high ways - me driving -------> freak out.

Deep breaths.

I'm the EXACT same way. Poop in my house only. Having said that, I blame my constipation problems on this. Constantly holding it in in anticipation of my own thrown is no bueno.

@Pink Camino good luck today! I hope the rain and hwy driving doesn't get you too frazzled!!! I can relate to the driving, no fear but some days the hwy is bad enough it causes me anxiety. It's gotten better over the years though. Fwiw, I think you're a hot looking troll with some frizzy hair and what not!

My puppy had diarrhea all night so I slept on the couch cushions in the dining room seperated by a gate and she woke me up every 1 to 1.5 hours to go out. I am exhausted and have a crazy work day ahead. Is it Friday yet?

Good luck today with both the interview and highway! I always have frizz hair in the rain, take some wax with you and tame again before you go in.

Thanks KMW08! I work from home today so at least I am here if she needs me but as of an hour ago it was still not good. DH is "spoiling" her with too many rich things and I may need to TP him soon.

@Pink Camino Good luck with your interview, both getting there and the interview itself!

@KMW08 DH is the same way about bathrooms, so I sort of feel your pain indirectly. Hopefully your stomach waits until you get home to release.

I woke up at 4:30am after having a bad dream, but luckily DH is a light sleeper so he woke up too and we made the most of being awake early

It might be a long day, though.

No work today, but my back is killing me. I can't wait for 3 more weeks! I get to sleep in a real bed and everything (next to my husband!).

Oh I'll join...DH is being a major asshole this morning. Well, he was being one yesterday too and it spilled over into today. Honestly, I feel like I could make this really long with all the crappy things he did this weekend to be a jerk but I doubt anyone wants to hear all of it

The last words I heard out of his mouth this morning before he left for work (he left before me) was a total smart ass remark intended to piss me off. And it worked. And then I sat in God-awful traffic on the way to work. So that was fun.

OMG!!! I cant take this poison ivy, I have it on my legs, toes, arms, hands, fingers, neck and a little on my cheek. The itching is driving me crazy.

I took benedryl last night and I still woke up twice during the night.

I have to go to school today to meet a parent. OMG!!!!!!!!!

Poison ivy is the absolute worst! See of your doc can call you in some topical and oral steroids. I had to take the steroids to clear mine up earlier this summer. They start working very quickly.

My SIL & I are hosting the monthly Ladies Meeting from church tonight. We were just going to have it at the fellowship hall at the church since neither of our houses are big enough to accommodate it. Well, my Mom offered to have it at her house so I said ok because if I had said no she would have gotten mad. Just like I figured would happen, she is taking over & making it harder & more complicated than it should be. For instance, informing us that the menu we have planned is not going to be enough & adding stuff to it without asking us. She offered to get the plates, cups, and utensils & I told her that it was ok that I would get them. She insisted so I told her that usually we have throw away cups & we could just use the normal plates & forks. Now we are using antique glasses & real silver that has to be hand washed.

It sounds really nice that she has offered to do all of this but the purpose of these meetings is just to get together, visit & have a nice time. It also sounds nice that she is cooking more stuff but when it boils down to it, she didn't think we would do good enough & wants it done her way. Keep in mind, she has never gone to a single meeting. She is going to get all stressed about this, take all the fun out of it for SIL and me and then get furious at us for a week because we are not going to want to hand wash dishes for about 20 people at 9:00 tonight.

She has taken something that should have been simple & fun & hade it stressful & I'm not looking forward to it. Any time she suggests something & I say no she gets mad & pouts. She said something about letting every body take home tomatoes from that garden after I said I had planned to make salsa with them.

Sorry this got really long. I have a feeling it's going to be a long night.

So while chasing the escapee cow through the brush on Saturday I got multiple wasp stings. My left hand is still swollen and my thigh is hot, red & itchy. Damn wasps!! DH thinks I may be allergic from my reaction.

At the time it happened I had a flashback to the scene in "My Girl" and was freaking out that they were going to swarm me. I may or may not have been running & screaming fuck repeatedly.

I'm with you on that. I had to poop on the way home from the beach (5 hours from home) & Ii honestly tried to in a gas station bathroom. It wouldn't come out so I guess I am physically unable to go in a public place lol.

If your gut is still bound up when you get home you may want to try Epsom salt water. It's gross but really works. DH just gargled with it last night & must have swallowed a little. He jumped out of bed and had to run to make it to the bathroom.

Me too! My dog actually woke me up a few minutes before my alarm went off...then I decided to set the alarm for a slightly later time so I didn't have to hit the snooze button (this logic made absolute sense at 5:00am). I ended up hitting snooze anyway...now I also have to stay later at work.

I slept in, which I never do, and now getting a VERY late start on my Monday chores...house is a disastrous mess, dogs/cats need to be groomed, at least 4-5 loads of laundry to do, stack of bills to pay, 25 clients to email to set up fall lesson schedule, and I need to be ready at 4:30 to go to the Mets game and yet I'm sitting on my ass reading this forum...

I had a court date this morning at 8:30 am. Now in all reality I knew I wouldn't be in front of the judge at that time but I still wanted to be there on time. Well, I got a new phone and haven't figure out how to use the snooze. I woke up 40 minutes late, giving me 25 mins to get ready. I only left 5 mins late, but then that gave me no time for traffic or parking, resulting in me parking right next to the courthouse which then caused me to have to pay $15 for 1 hr and 20 mins of parking.

( The judge didn't even take the bench until 9:30. I should of drove around and parked somewhere else. What an idiot I am. L-)

@Rafterk2 thanks! I'll live; luckily I'm right handed so I don't have to use my left that much. But it is uncomfortable and tender. Been throbbing pretty bad this morning. I probably shouldn't have worn my wedding rings but did anyway.
