Hi all - I have been lurking for a bit and wanted to introduce myself. I have learned a lot from just reading some old posts.
I am 30 and DH is 32, we have been actively ttc for 11 months now (cbefm AND wondfo opks to check) and had a MC at 6 weeks last month. I have been off bc for 3 years and my cycles are very irregular, ranging from 32 to 68 days long but usually around 40-45 or so with ovulation date never the same cycle day. All blood work comes back fine (with the exception of TSH was once 7, but then was 2.4 a few weeks later with a full work up by an endo).
DH has had a vericocele for as long as he can remember, went for a recent SA at his urologist and all was fine other than his morphology as it came back 14 when ideal is 30. He is going back for another SA to get the Kruger level which is a more strict test. I have heard that it always ones back lower than initial testing but trying to stay positive.
We have an appt with a fertility specialist to discuss our situation in a few weeks. I know would be early to see a specialist with just 1 MC and ttc for just under a year, but with my irregular cycles and the morphology I just felt I need as much information as I can get my hands on and need to feel i am doing what i can. The roller coaster of emotions that have come along with this past year has been intense. When starting out, you think it will be easy! Thanks, for listening!
