I'm going back to work in 6 weeks and need to buy new clothes. I'm a social worker in a homeless shelter so the attire is pretty casual. The only guidelines are no open toed shoes, no sleeveless shirts and due to the clientele dresses/skirts are discouraged. I typically wear jeans/nice top. So where do you shop? I'm thinking Ross or TJ Maxx for tops/pants. But I haven't bought shoes in a really long time. Do people shop at Payless? Do their shoes hold up?
