car sickness?

All of the sudden my 2.5 year old gets car sick. He doesn't do it every time. Usually once out of 20. Full stomach, empty stomach, it doesn't matter. We moved him from the middle to behind the drivers seat BC I had a baby. She's behind the passenger seat. He throws up then is ready to eat so he's ok. I dont know what to do. Thankfully I always have a change of clothes in my car and paper towels. Any suggestions? I was gonna ask his Dr at my daughters next appt.

  • My daughter started doing this too... she's only done it twice though.

  • My DS had severe carsickness from the time he was 7 months until about 22 months old (he threw up almost every car ride).   We tried absolutely everything to solve it and the only thing that ended up working were motion sickness wristbands.  He literally never threw up again once we started using them so they were a miracle for us.

We got ours from One Step Ahead for $9 but I know you can buy them many places and they all probably work just as well.  All you have to do is put them on a certain part of their wrists, so even if he doesn't get carsick often, it's easy enough to slip them on each time.  Hope that helps!
