I do it 2-3 times a week. K enjoys her manicures. She sits on my lap without any fuss.

when he starts scratching me.. usually every 3 days. Only when he's asleep otherwise he tries to take his hands back.

when he was littler I always did it while he was asleep though.

Funny story...

I used to clip them while he was BFing once a week because that's the only time he would be still. Then I noticed that they were somehow never getting long. I asked my in-home daycare person (who is also a friend) about it, and she said, "Oh yeah, I hope you're not mad, but I noticed they were getting a little long, so I cut them."

So now I just let her cut them all the time because I never liked doing it anyway.

I don't clip his nails near nap or bed time. He gets to riled up and we end up wrestling. I try to do it when he first wakes up because he is still lethargic.

I cut his nails when they get long or when he scratches me.

I have never tried to do it when he was asleep though.

This for us too. I normally do it first thing in the morning after he's eaten

Once every week or so. I do it before bath time usually. I sit him in my lap and give him something the play with in the other hand. He doesn't seem to mind. It takes like 15-20 to get both hands done.

Once or twice per week, when the scratching gets to be too much, or if we are going someplace special.

He sits on my lap facing away from me and he watches what I'm doing. It usually takes about 1-2 minutes.
