No sickness at all?

8 weeks pregnant and I haven't had any sickness, Or other symptoms other than the bloating and boobs hurting. Is this normal? My boyfriends sister was pregnant and she had sickness straight away, and most people I know have! Why am I different?!? Or am I just strange? Ha! X

Re: No sickness at all?

  • Everyone is different.  Every pregancy is different.  Symptoms come and go.

Enjoy it!  Morning sickness is no fun.

  • You're not strange, you're one lucky pooch!  Enjoy every day of feeling good.

I have mostly no symptoms but the boobs and cramps. I do not think you're strange :). Enjoy it!
  • Enjoy it! I have been sick 24/7.
  • My mom and my friend never had sickness. I haven't had any yet...until possibly today. My tummy has felt very off but I don't know if it's just anxiety over tomorrow (first day of school and a doctor's appointment) or if I started having a little sickness. I do get a bit nauseous if I go too long without eating, but not too bad. As long as I'm eating I'm dandy (so far.)

Sounds like my first pregnancy. I didn't have any sickness, I was just tired. You should consider yourself lucky! :)

  • In the same boat as you. Not sick at all! Just tired, sore boobs and maybe a stray hormone or two.

Same here. No sickness, just sore boobs and a little tired. Hoping this keeps up because I start teaching day after Labor Day. Yikes!

  • I'm tired all the time and my boobs hurt randomly.. but I also haven't had MUCH sickness.  I get random waves, but that's all.
  • Enjoy it while it lasts! It can change at a moments notice!

  • Same here...just light sore boobs, light fatigue, light bloating. Today is the first day I maybe noticed an increase of smell. Got home earlier & all I could smell is the garbage. DH said he didn't smell anything & usually he is the one with the sensitive nose.

  • Same here no real MS. Neither my mom nor any of my cousins had MS so looks like a good family trait. Thanks mom! My sense of smell is heightened and my boobs are a little bit sore. One thing though is I'm tired all the time. BabyFruit Ticker Anniversary

  • I'm always tired. I will get up early and half way through the day i end up needing a nap! My routine since I've been off work for a week has been get up, eat, do nothing then fall asleep and the over again until its actually time for bed! Another week off work to do the same. Then back to work. I don't even know how I'm going to cope with that!!!! Xxx
  • Is nausea all day considered m/s?
  • I haven't had any symptoms, but sore boobs, a little nausea, and stomach pains. I'm thankful for nothing more! :)

  • Lucky for those who do not have anything! I was one of you...until I got into week 6....nausea all day! I don't know how I will function at work!
Do freaken teen mom's get morning sickness? Why are the popping kids after another. Don't know if I want another one!!
  • I'm almost 7 weeks and thankfully have not experienced morning sickness.  Other than needing to find a bathroom a little more frequently, I wouldn't know there was anything going on inside me.   I talked to my mom and grandmother and not only did neither of them have morning sickness, they both felt great when they were pregnant.  So I'm hoping to take after them!

  • i'm the same - no morning sickness whatsoever (and i didn't have any with my son either).  people are different.  consider yourself fortunate and don't overthink it!
  • No morning sickness for me either...I do have a lovely car sick feeling that nags at me most times tho.  We're all different, don't sweat it and count yourself lucky!
  • I'm 7.5 weeks and no morning sickness or nausea for me either. Just fatigue and sore boobs. Hope I'm just lucky too!
  • Enjoy it! Every person & every pregnancy is different. I had absolutely no nausea, no sickness with my son while some of my friends were so sick they had to get medicine from their doctor. This time I still am not actually throwing up, but I am constantly nauseous and have had a few times where I was very close to getting sick.

  • Every morning I wake up expecting nausea, but so far just sore boobs, fatigue and some heartburn, which I had never had prepregnancy.

"Car sick feeling" is the perfect description of what I'm feeling too! I feel like I just drove 8 hours in the back of a van while reading a book.. But it's really not too bad. I'm considering myself lucky so far!!

  • I don't either. It's my first pregnancy where I haven't been sick since the beginning. I'm just trying to enjoy it because this can change at any moment and ms sucks!

  • Yep enjoy it :) I felt good so I went and bought all the snacks I love and now the thought of them makes me sick! My cousin didn't get sick until later on so I think it's totally normal
