has anyone had a tummy tuck covered by insurance?

It's almost 3 years later and I am still uncomfortable. I'm skinny with all this skin hanging. My scar is always damp and irritated. Can't wear pants comfortably either. Just wondering if you did and why? I'm not getting infections or anything it's just constantly irritated. Thanks!

You are not going to get a tummy tuck covered by insurance. Possibly hernia repair, maybe a panniculectomy (just the skin removal) or muscle separation repair, but a tummy tuck itself is cosmetic. Sometimes if issues are severe enough, insurance will pay for the medically necessary portion (hernia repair) but not the cosmetic portions (tummy tuck.)
