  • I put when we met him / her, we will find out the gender and have a few names short listed for either gender but I don't think we will make a decision until they are in our arms :)

  • We have a boy name but still haven't decided on a girl name.

  • With DS we had a few names picked before we knew the gender. Then we narrowed it down and picked one shortly after that, then changed it right at the end. This time we have them already picked out. I doubt we will switch any this time. We are both tired of trying to come up with names we both like.

Same! I've had a boy name picked out for years (because it's a name that was passed down in my family) but I haven't even thought about girl names yet. I'm actually convinced I'm having a boy because I had a dream that I was....haha I guess I will have to wait for that 20 week ultra sound to see if I'm right.

  • We have a girl name but not a boy's name yet. I'm really hoping for a baby girl this time around, so I refuse to pick a boy name until its confirmed that "it" is a he.
  • We have a few names written down since we have been praying to have children for 8 yrs. however by the time we have the baby shower we will have a name. I think it's the best time to get everyone acclimated to the name. Besides a baby shower is a party for the unborn as the guest of honor I think a name is appropriately fair to address the baby.
  • The first time we picked our name after the ultrasound. This time around I'd like to have both boy and girl names picked out pretty soon, but DH is resistant. With DS, we didn't tell anyone his name until after he was born and it drove both grandmas crazy! This time I'd like to give them hints at the names to see if they can figure it out (with notice that we can change the name when LO arrives of course!)
