It doesn't matter if my girls are dressed in identical fluffy pink dresses, everywhere we go people ask if it's a boy and a girl. There isn't even a pattern as to which one is supposed to be the boy. I don't really mind, but it's weird no?
Haha! I *have* a boy and a girl and get asked if they are both girls all the time! Doesn't help that DS has super curly hair and a lot of it! For the record...I dress him like a boy and her like a girl. I would think there would be no question.
I get this all the time. It doesnt help that one of my girls has a ton of hair and the other one is almost bald so everyone thinks she is the boy, even when they are dressed in identical pink dresses with bows in their hair. I saw something on a twin site that said when someone asks you should respond, " was it the pink dress that gave it away?". I'm gonna try it next time someone asks.
We welcomed our girls on 11.7.12 @ 40w0d!

I actually have a boy and a girl, and get asked all the time if I have two boys, even if my daughter is dressed in pink or in a dress!! IMO, my daughter is pretty delicate/feminine looking, so I don't get it!

Always. Right after they insist that my frats are ids, they make a b/g comment. Because, you know, I dressed them both in pink and put flowers in their hair to keep strangers at Target guessing!
Not that often. It seems very frequent but unless people just saw the stroller and couldn't really see in, they almost always realized right away that they were too boys. I must have very non-girly-looking boys or something.

Happens literally every time we go out, and my little girl is in frilly dresses almost all the time when we go out (gotta get some use out of them before she grows out of everything!). I almost want to hang a sign on the stroller or something.
I get it all the time too, right after they ask if they are identical. Sam is half the size of Ben, bald and olive skinned. Ben is a tank, with dark blond hair, and fair skin. I've had people say Sam was too pretty to be a boy.
Nah, they always see that both of them are boys - they just can't determine whether they're fraternal or identical... even tho they look nothing alike..

Re: Fraternals - does everyone ask if they are a boy and a girl?
TTC since May 2006. After 3 failed Clomid cycles, 2 failed Injectibles/IUIs, 2 failed IVFs and 1 failed FET, we moved on to adoption!
Last ditch FET resulted in BFP, and identical twin girls!
