Finally a tooth!!!!

OMG- I thought I would never see the day. We thought she was teething at 4 months, 6 months, 9 months, 10 months, etc. Nothing. Even though her gums are swollen as can be and chewing on everything. If she was fussy we would always attribute it to her possibly teething. Nope- we were always wrong!!

Well, as I was giving her a bath last night, I noticed that her gums have actually split on the bottom. I put my finger in her mouth and actually felt the sharp tooth coming through. Wahoo- her first tooth at 11 months old.

I yelled for Joe and he couldnt' believe it! We did the tooth dance in the bathroom and Katie was splashing with excitement in the tub. It was rather comical to watch if you were there. Just being some crazy parents.

I know have a fear that all of her teeth are going to come in at once since she was a late teether. We shall see!
