I haven't been in 20 years. Dh wants to take lo because she is obsessed with the mouse puppet show on baby first tv and thinks she would love the show. Opinions of chuck e cheese. I know she can't play games yet. I think Dh secretly wants to play ski ball haha!

I took my daughter with my friend and her 3.5 year old. she liked running around and riding the little rides, and she enjoyed their pizza for lunch. Overall it was a little overstimulating, and she screamed when we left, but it was a fun one or one and a half hour trip.

We bring the older kids once in awhile, and DD has to come along.. She doesn't mind. She doesn't get a ton out of it either. But, if you're going, they open at like 9-10 a.m. I would go then, it's much less busy and you can kind of have the run of the place. GL!

The mouse show is the robots playing music and talking. It entertains DD while DS plays games. She watches the show, walks around... there's a little kid area at ours with rides and a slide. It's still too old for her but she likes it.

I took James when he was 18 months ish when DH was out of town and I was desperate for something to do. He was too young and way over stimulated.

Do you have a Dave and Busters? I would rather go there if DH wants to play ski ball.

I think Chuck E Cheese is a little old for this age. My 3.5 year old likes it, but there are still only so many games that he can play. It's not cheap to eat and play there either, so I personally wouldn't spend the money.

My nephews love that place. I think it's nasty. As pp's said I think it's for older kids.

I haven't been since my friend turned 20 in college.

But the pain meds during labor made me weird and I kept asking "Is Chuck E. Cheese a mouse or a rat? A mouse? A rat?" until my mom googled it.

I guess my inner self likes it..?

Side note: ours doesn't have the robots anymore. I dont' think. Mostly it plays like music videos on the screen? It's weird. The kids don't watch the show anymore, they just burn through the tokens.

Thanks for the input. When I was growing up we had this place called major magics it was way better and less trashy
