Timi and Leslie vs Marc Jacobs diaper bags

Hi Everyone,

 

I am looking at a bunch of different diaper bags. Does anyone have thoughts on the Timi and Leslie Marie Antoinette or the Marc Jacobs Pretty Little Eliza?

Is the Marie Antoinette big enough? I definitely like the price better than the Marc Jacobs, but I like the Marc Jacobs look better. What about function?

 

Does anyone have any other suggestions?

    I got a Marc Jacobs diaper bag from nordstrom. It's roomy, and stylish. I have no complaints.

    2/12-5/12: 4 IUI cycles = all BFN;
    7/12: DE IVF # 1 (with ICSI)- 20R, 16M, 14F, 5DT of 2 blasts; 6 frosties = BFN;
    Lupus anticoagulant initially high, then found to be normal on hematology consult;
    Follow up testing in September all clear;
    Started synthroid for "high normal" TSH;
    FET # 1- late October 2012- BFP on FRER; beta # 1- 21(low), beta # 2- 48 (still low), beta # 3- 132, beta # 4- 1,293; beta # 5- 5,606; last beta- over 100,000. First u/s 11/21- heard heartbeat
    12/12- Officially an OB patient!
    Level 2 ultrasound at 20 weeks shows vasa previa and VCI
    Referral to MFM and mandatory c section for delivery
    Beautiful baby girl born at 34 weeks
    Finally home after 15 day NICU stay!
    Trying for sibling: FET # 2- May 2014; beta 5/31, BFN
    FET #3, early July 2014; beta 7/14, BFN
    DE IVF # 2- August 2014; 14R, 13M, 11F, 5dt of 2 blasts (3 AA), 5 frosties = BFN
    FET #4- December 2014, yet another BFN

    Dr. KK work up shows borderline uterine blood flow, elevated NK cells, and MTHFR mutation (homozygous for c677t)

    Added baby aspirin, prednisone, supplements, Metanx, and intralipids

    Switched to large clinic for final attempt; had endometrial receptivity testing in January; FET March 2015 = yet another BFN

    Likely OAD- NBC

    I have the Timi and Leslie Dawn, not sure how it compares in size, but I LOVE it!  I had a Kate Spade and hated the functionality of it, I really like how the Timi and Leslie has specific pockets for everything, that those pockets have elastic to keep things in them, the bottle insulators, the stroller straps, etc.  I think because they only do diaper bags they do them very well.  I do not know about the Marc Jacobs bag, but if you have not already I would look inside and make sure it has everything you need and does not just look good on the outside (that is the mistake I made with my Kate Spade, it was adorable but it just had big loose pockets inside and everything fell out of them, bottles leaked because they tipped, it was just a big mess).

    I love my Marc Jacobs bag and don't regret buying it at all. It was my last splurge on myself before DS was born. I even got it 20% off during a Bloomingdale's friends and family sale. (Sign up for their emails to know when the next one is) It's roomy and holds everything that I need for both me and DS. Strongly recommend!

    Thanks for the advice everyone. I think I might wait for the next friends and family at Bloomingdales and then splurge! I figured I watto be totally happy with the bag, and hopefully I can use it for other purposes after baby (gym, etc). lywedding, did you find any issues with it not having an insulated bottle pocket?
