Too afraid to start labor so DH said he won't touch me until 37 weeks

Until these past 2-3 weeks, I'd have said 1-2 times a week, but between the YI, and treatment, and the hemmie pain, I have no interest to have anything down there.

Gonna have to start soon to prep for labor though!

I put not happening, I miss it though. DH has been afraid to touch me for months, then the whole bed rest thing happened. I'm counting down until Wednesday because my Dr told me I could "go crazy" (her literal words). So my answer will probably be different after that.

I said "ha not happening" but in reality it's more like once every two weeks possibly every 3. We are two ships passing in the night right now so I hope to get some time together in the next 10 days before my Rcs.

Maybe if you changed this to "How many times per month", I could answer, ha! I'd say 1-2x/month but that's only because I'm so big and uncomfortable that I can't enjoy it. Poor DH.

Hubby is freaked out by my growing and moving belly. He wants to but it's just too weird for him. Honestly it's not that comfortable for me either so sadly not happening ... Can't wait to have non pregnant again

I vote 1-2 times a week. I'll be 37 weeks Monday, so I plan to ramp it up then. Just started having my first signs/feelings of contractions today. Although I have a good feeling I will go a week or more late (family history), I'm willing to up the frequency in an attempt to get things moving before 40 weeks.

We haven't had sex in months, sadly. First I was on bed rest. Then when they released me from bed rest, I was still on pelvic rest. Then when the Dr gave me the ok to have sex . . . I started having crazy contractions before we even got a chance to get down to business. Now DH is too worried about causing me to go into labor. I think we will get to try again soon since I will be 37 weeks in a few days. Not sure how it will work out logistically though. Feeling giant!

It's a shame that this is my first pregnancy (of three) that I actually have a high sex drive and our kids are both finally sleeping through the night, buy with my irritable uterus and ptl scares, I have hesitated a lot because it gives me so many contractions!

Not to mention my husband had back surgery a month ago, so it's been quite painful for us both!! So we've probably maintained 1/week, but sometimes not even that!

We haven't been able to have sex for at least the last 3 months due to some of my medical issues. I want to do bad... I think about it constantly (and some things just don't compare when all you want is an old fashioned dirty deed).

1-2 but I wish for more. He's gone at least 4 nights a week and when he is here he's just exhausted. Our sleep schedules are completely opposite. But DH's last day of work is Monday (yippee!!) he gets 2 months off!! I'll be 39w so I'm hoping for 1-2 a day!

not to get things going but to make up for the next 6 weeks without

Im on bed rest and before that was super nauseous and before that was bleeding and before that we were doing IVF.

Not happening. DH is NOT into me this pregnancy!! Every time I bring it up, he says "geometry!" As in, telling me its physically impossible with my big belly. Didn't stop him last pregnancy, so I'm not sure what's up, but the last time we did DTD, I had contractions all day, so I'm okay with waiting until I hit 37 weeks. Though I think the last time was at least 2 months ago...

Heh, when I read this it literally made chuckle out loud because yeah, just not happening. For most of the pregnancy we've had sex maybe once a month or so. Dhhas to be REALLY in the mood because my belly weirds him out. Logically he knows he's not poking LO but mentally he can't get past the thought. Quite frankly it was pretty uncomfortable for me the last time we tried anyway so I don't see much sex happening until after we get the all clear after baby is born. I'll please dh in other ways when the mood strikes and he has no complaints about tthat.

I guess we should have appreciated the tons of TTC sex we had if only we had known how little we'd be having now lol

We are in the same boat. Trying to help things along as much as we can since prostaglandins soften the cervix and we want to avoid induction meds at all costs! Also, we will have a 6 week break so gotta get it in as much as we can now. There's something kind of sexy about the thought of speeding things up to meet LO too.

We have nit been allowed the whole pregnancy...then post c section another 6... oh and I'm having twins....with a DE under 1....so maybe sometime next fall...lol....4 weeks to go!!!!
