We spend a lot of time worried, venting, troubleshooting -- lets do some bragging for once! Even if they're not STTN yet, rolling over, or speaking fluent German, every kid has something that makes their Momma beam with pride. Being a Mom is effing HARD and sometimes you just want to brag about what is actually going well.

Same here!! My first didn't STTN for months and months. Ginny STTN in her crib around 2 months. It's the best!

Claire is in a PNP in our room...but I bet she would be fine in her crib. It's me who is too chicken;) And I also think I'm jinxed for our next kid.

I've been giving DS his bottle at night and then just laying him down in his crib and he puts himself to sleep!! Pretty proud of my big boy!

DD1 is scooting all over the place! DD2 is thisclose to sitting unassisted. They're both STTN, thank The Lord!

My LO seems so smart. She can play with toys now that my DS couldn't play with until he was like 7-8 months old or so. She is so good with her hands with toys and also getting the spoon to her mouth.

Oh and her cry can sometimes shatter glass (lol)! That's her secret super hero power. :-P

DS can roll multiple times in a row and scoot around. It's waking him up at night but it's cool that he can do it! He is also so inquisitive. He wants to look at and touch everything.

DS has the cutest laugh and loves being tickled. When I put out my hands he grabs them and pulls himself to sit up. He's trying so hard to roll over but he just keeps sticking his butt in the air and then falls down, it's so cute.

He has hit every milestone fairly early so far. Even right now he is saying 'mamama', 'dadada', and 'bababa' but I know he doesn't know what it means yet. He is an intense baby, every second he is awake he is studying something or someone. When he looks at something new, he looks at me, I tell him what it is and he stares at me for a second, then smiles and stares back at it.. lol It makes me think he knows what I am talking about, I know he doesn't.. it just makes me see the world in a different perspective now... everything is so new and awesome to him... even just the grass. When you get older you really don't stop and just see things... he makes sure I do.

Elisha has been scooting in circles since he was 8 weeks old and after a couple of weeks of really working at it, he is scooting forward. He sticks his butt way up, and sometimes gets pretty much on his hands and feet to make it happen. It is so cute.

Mine- it's been said but Mila is SO HAPPY. I think I notice it so much just because Ava was so stoic and, frankly, difficult when she was a baby. Mila is difficult in different ways, but I never get tired of her amazing smile and willingness to be handled by people other than H and I.

M is rolling, smiling, babbling, blowing raspberries and rocking his very cute amber teething necklace.

. He has big beautiful eyes-it's what everyone always comments on. And...he's a serious mama's boy it feels good that I get smiles and coos just saying his name from across the room. And all you STTNers...you must sedate your babies!

M's up every 2-3 hours, but that just means more snuggle time

My LO genuinely seems to enjoy meeting new people. He even let some 10 year-old girl he'd never laid eyes on before hold him for a few minutes this afternoon. I'm hoping this means he's an extrovert.

He talks, A LOT. He has everyone at the store coming over and laughing. He has big blue/green beautiful eyes and he has also started soothing himself back to sleep sometimes!

Like others said my baby girl is super smiley! She will smile at strangers every where we go. My dad once said she makes everyone around her feel special bc she gives them the biggest grins. Which I love to think is true;)

DD is also super smiley, and very alert. Even from birth, she was always trying to look around (she developed some pretty awesome head control early on because of this). She is a pro at rolling from back to tummy now, loves walking with me, talking, and jumping. I'm pretty sure she knows the word "up", as every time I say it, she braces herself so I can pull her up into a sitting position. Every morning we wait by the back door and she watches for DH to get home from work. As soon as she sees him, she gives him the biggest smile ever. And she discovered the moon yesterday... we were by the window and she suddenly looked up and stared at it for a couple minutes. She is a very smart little girl and I love watching her explore and learn new things every day.

LO has finally started rolling over back to tummy in the last couple of days. Last week she also sat in a swing at the park for the first time. Despite her shyness, she has been doing well going on play dates in public places, not crying. But I'm especially excited that I was able to put her in the Ergo carrier this morning, and she was perfectly content! When I first got it, she was a month old, and screamed her head off. I hadn't tried it since then, and to my happy surprise, she seems to like it! It's exciting to watch her grow and change!

DD finally rolled over yesterday! She's been so close. Of course, it would happen when we were out of town with DS so my sister saw it.

She's also laughing out loud more which is the best thing ever.

DS has the most genuine laugh. He makes you feel so good when he laughs at what you're doing. He has big beautiful bright blue eyes that tell exactly how he's feeling. He loves to roll over and is no longer content just hanging on his back. He wants to see what's going on around him. He's very observant. He also loves to blow raspberries. Love him to pieces

She does nothing but smile all day long. There are days where she doesn't cry for anything and she is a breast feed baby and has slept through the night since about 4 weeks old! Shes almost rolling and I cant get enough of her!

LO is rounding the bend to 5 months and is very much a people person (right now). He just soaks it up and takes it in. Unless he's tired or hungry, he's ready to have a good time! Even when he wakes up for a feeding in the middle of the night, he's all smiles and giggles!

He has been trying hard to sit up for a long time now and he's finally starting to do it a little bit himself. He also finally rolled over this weekend- yay! (of course after we were helping him "practice" ) He is just a hoot overall- his facial expressions, his noises. I have a feeling we are going to be VERY entertained with him around.

LO is such a happy baby. She is so easy going and has also slept through the night since she was about 1 month old. She grabs on to everything in site now. Still has not rolled over but im sure it will happen any day now. She also smiles every time she sees my face which makes me the happiest mommy in the world

I've am now down 20lbs my pre-baby weight and I've done nothing except breastfeed. I'm so happy about this. Now I am going to use that momentum to actually start exercising and hope I can lose another 20!
