Well, technically I never went to sleep

I've been laying in bed since 1030 last night, flipping sides, readjusting, getting up to pee, burping, fending off DH as he tries to steam roll me in his sleep...this is my first all nighter in a looooong time. Hoping it doesn't become a common thing. DH just got up to go do barrack inspections and tried giving me his "sleep dust". Epic. Fail. Lol. This should be an interesting day to say the least. Anyone else pulling all nighters lately?!

I was when I was around 36 weeks, so DH and I decided that we needed to sleep in different beds. It has made a huge difference. Is that a possibility? I found that I was most restless because I knew that my movement in an effort to get comfortable was just interrupting his sleep. It sounds like YH doesn't have that issue, but it still could be affecting your comfort if you think you're bothering your bedmate!

Yeah DH is not disturbed by my movement AT ALL. He sleeps like a freakin rock either way. My main thing is lack of room. DH is a huuuuge bed hog!!! I get impaled with arms and legs all night. 95% of the night he is on my side of the bed pretty much sleeping on top of me. I guess I didn't notice it before or as much when I didn't have the belly. My only other option is the couch or blow up mattress....they are looking pretty comfy at this point!

Me. The last two nights I have actually dreaded going to bed knowing I would just be tossing and turning all night. Ugh.

@mrskeyte9, my DH would be the one to take the couch or the air mattress...I'm hoping your H would be on board with that, too! You don't have much longer and the last month brings its sleeping challenges full force for many people. You need your rest!

I'd like to add that dh sleeps elsewhere however I have a sideways toddler, two night owl cats, & chickens outside. Not a whole lot going for me!

Ya know, I thought I was finally catching a break. I fell asleep at 8 pm the night before last and every time I woke up through the night, I was able to get back to sleep. Ended up not really waking up until 6 am. It was fantastic.

Last night was a nightmare, and I even had a nightmare to accompany it. I hate to whine in your thread but I'm so over pregnancy's stupid "normal" symptoms and not being allowed to be depressed about it. I don't even fully understand my symptoms (which probably warrants a call to the Dr). Ever since I ate around midnight (since DH brought me home food after work) I just felt like complete shit! It was bloaty, crampy, gassy, uncomfortable, painful... just utter shit. I ended up crying, falling asleep for two hours, and now here I am :l So I totally get you.

I still feel this way, too. Poor DH didn't know what to do with me. Kudos to him and YH for trying. Although mine doesn't pancake me in bed, lol that sounds like a couch transfer IMO!

I guess I'm lucky in that I got to sleep from 0100 to 0330.. and then a couple of asshats in my building thought the patio outside my bedroom window would make an excellent space to continue their late-night conversation and laughter.

After trying to ignore them for 30 minutes, I got dressed and went out to ask them to STFU. They complied, but really? I'm up for good now. And I'm already hoping for a nap this afternoon.

Anyone else relying on naps to get them through the day life?

@TKtravels Good on you! I would've told them to screw off too. I had to do that in my old house when I didn't have a white noise AC in my window to ward off the noise. Do you think white noise would work for you? Running a fan or something of the like?

Pre-pregnancy some random van full of drunk 40 year olds were just parked outside my front door (had the whole street, but yet of all places) around 3 am, and being obnoxious and loud. I was so pissed it woke me up, I grabbed my huge baton-like flashlight and went outside (just in case the big drunk dude outside the van tried to confront me LOL). I told them they needed to take their party somewhere else because some people have to work the next day. The one guy was gross and flirty and proceeded to ask me why I had a flashlight. To which I'm pretty sure I responded "because it's fucking dark out?" and went back inside.

I can't imagine what ray of sunshine I'd be if this happened while pregnant, although my upstairs apartment neighbor may or may not soon find out

I am not sleeping hardly at all. As much as I hate it and feel like a zombie, I also welcome the conditioning for baby in a way. After DD came I realized it really was true that my body had already prepped me for long sleepless nights! I wish I was still on bed now though.

I've been sleeping on the couch for the past couple of weeks because it's more comfortable than our bed right now to me. My reflux got me last night. I went to the bathroom at some point and nearly had to grab the trash can at the same time. Nice enough as that sounds, how about then I started having dreams about having to puke and shite at the same time. That was lovely...

I got up a couple of times to drink milk since I remember someone saying that can help with the reflux maybe?

My insomnia has been awful lately. OB told me to take two Benadryl before bedtime. Slept from 10pm till 8am last night. Amazing.

Last weekend I had two all nighters. Maybe 8 hours of sleep total between 7:30 Saturday morning and 10 pm on Monday evening! It was rough, and I was a hateful B! Hope tonight is a little better for you!

I have also been having sleepless nights I just can't seem to get comfortable at all or I am up all the time having to pee. I have had my share of sleepless nights this past week.
