  I had my gallbladder out 6 weeks to the day after my c-section so I feel your pain and then some. It actually wasn't too bad. Are they doing a single or multi port laproscopic? I had a single port laproscopic so it was only one incision and they removed it from my belly button so minimal scarring. It was WAY easier than the c-section. I think the worst part was my shoulders hurt afterward. (They put gas in the abdominal cavity while doing the surgery and it slowly seeps back out. It isn't too painful but really odd.) I was down the day after mostly because SO said so. I was up and alone with baby the following day. You know the tylenol/ibprofen routine they put you on after the c-section? Do that. I hardly needed the strong pain meds. 
  
  That being said I am still struggling with the aftermath. The removal of your gallbladder eliminates your excess bile production so fatty foods or large meals are hard to break down. I'm 5.5 months out and still have (TMI WARNING) terrible diarrhea and gas. My diet has had to change dramatically. Not everyone has this experience but I wasn't told about this before hand so I didn't expect it. The people I know who have had theirs out though say the stomach problems resolve by about a year.   I also had mine out and it was easier than the c section I had multiple incisions but the are very small and can barely see them anymore. I had mine out I between having my boys. It's been a year now and I agree my stomach is now just figuring everything out. Good luck!!! I can answer more questions too
