Never once, not once have I *EVER* thought about a) not wearing a standard hospital gown 2) wearing the same gown that someone else has worn. I'm a FTM too, and I know all I will give a shiz about is bringing my son safely into this world and holding him in my arms!!! Any other concerns is douchebaggery at it's finest if you ask me!

That is probably the least horrifying thing that can happen in a hospital gown. If only she could see the gowns and sheets I have thrown in the hospital laundry she would just have her baby at home!

Meh, I don't think that would've warranted a flag either. Seriously I'm a FTM but I don't understand women who don't know birth is messy. But maybe that's because I'm a vet and have seen, felt, and pulled on placenta as well as getting splatted with fetal fluids. Ok maybe I'm not normal, but still, why are women surprised birth is messy?

Wow!! That wasn't mean, rude, offensive, etc. That was truth. If she can't handle the truth of what child birth is like then she doesn't need to be having a baby. Wanting to look pretty during giving birth is the most naive thing I think I've heard

Doesn't make us all that crazy. I agree 3rd tri board are BMB rejects. And that 10,000 calorie snacks are def the way to go. Yup, that pretty well covers it.

What is wrong with these women? With DS I was super young and thought "I'm going to have my hair done and my makeup pretty and blah, blah, blah,". In the end, I had a ponytail on the top of my head lopsided, and no makeup, and I cherish all of the pictures even if I was a hot mess. My hospital gown was gross, and I had a cheap plain gown to change into the next day.

This is a little off topic and totally anecdotal, but forgive me. I was born on a holiday. My mother had gotten up, did her hair and put on makeup in preparation for holiday company. She was putting a turkey in the oven when she went into labor. I came so fast (her whole noticeable labor was less than 2 hours) that her post delivery photos look fake. She had these great '80s big curls, fuchsia lips and blue eye makeup.

My point is, even when you look "good" you still look bad.
