I keep experiencing the "drive by" belly rub where I work at. I'll be pulling meds for a patient or charting and all of a sudden a hand is on my tummy and then quick as a flash its gone and I'm left sitting there looking around like "who the hell was that?" lol
So creepy! You don't walk up and rub someone else's stomach when they aren't pregnant - why do people think bc there is a baby in there that its ok to touch???
I think murder would be appropriate for this situation. Every single person but my husband who has touched my belly this pregnancy has gotten a pretty good smack somewhere on their person, and those were all family members not strangers!

Ugh. From a total stranger is just so wrong. I have a client who walked up to me and started rubbing my belly WHILE asking me "does it just drive you crazy when people walk up and touch your stomach all the time?" Uhhh... Yup.
You could have grabbed her ass or done something equally awkward and uncalled for to highlight her sincere lack of judgement of the appropriate social behavior in that situation...Or to be less grab-assy, you could you have just rubbed her stomach and repeated her golden words of size appreciation. I just think the stomach doesn't resonate with non-pregnant belly-grabbers as anything else would.

Well she defiantly received a death stare and it only got better when she started bragging around the room how he was 2 weeks pp (5'9" 98 lbs) then she was hated by the entire waiting room not just me. :-q

Ugh because that's something to be proud of. I understand that all weights are okay and blabla feminism, and that's just groovy until someone who weighs what I did at 12 is calling me big
