Pool etiquette

Took boo boo to the pool today. There were a few kids in the pool and adults lounging. We swam for 40 minutes just having a great time. And then he spit up. A lot. Wasn't anything I could do!!! So gross. I'm sure someone noticed. Should I have done something?! Not like I could've cleaned it up.

Re: Pool etiquette

  • DS has done that, I think from accidentally swallowing pool water. It was in our own pool, so I don't really know about the etiquette, but I just kind of tried to not draw attention to it and moved to a different area of the pool.

I'd say a mom would get that you couldn't do anything.

We had my nephew throw up n our pool once a little, but it was at home. We caught it with the net and cleaned it out. If you had a swim skirt maybe you could have caught it in that? Ew. Lol. Sorry, I'd prob just swish it and leave quietly and blush.

  • No clue what you could have done. Maybe if it was chunky, sweep the chunks out or towards the filter to get sucked out of the water.  I mean it's baby spit up not like full on vom or poop. They can get over it.
