Friday night fun

So dh and I usually always use fridays to catch up on our tv show episodes we missed that week once ds goes to bed. So tonight we'll be watching suits and necessary roughness and hopefully get to covert affairs as well. That's our Friday night fun. Tonight we're also having friendlys icecream since its on sale at 1.99. Yum!
What's your Friday night ritual? Anything fun planned for tonight?

Normally our ritual is watching DH try to find a movie to watch by going through every possible movie on Netflix, HULU and on-demand at least twice, if not 3 times, only to find some stupid ass movie that I have no desire to watch. Doesn't typically matter though because if I'm still awake at 10pm I'm "up late." Tonight we're actually going to a friend's house because they're having a bon-fire. Looking to hanging out with friends, not looking forward to being around BIL and his wife and kids. I love my niece and nephews but their parents don't watch them if others are around and we always get stuck doing it.

Normally it's get groceries and just relax... but tonight DH is hanging out with friends so I'm going to my parents and having dinner and watching Ghost Adventures

I'll miss DH but he needs some guy time before his semester starts

My only ritual for Friday is...I don't cook. :-) Tonight, DH and I are going to look at two houses which we LOVE (and I'm nervous about how much we love them because they're priced great but the property tax is ridic), and then grabbing something for dinner! We're "old" at this point and usually in bed by 9:30...even on weekends.

Tonight is the Packer preseason game so we'll be camped out on the couch watching the game.

DH is out of town, so I will be crawling into bed, watching insane amounts of the ID channel, and eating German Chocolate cake icecream! Normally we go out to eat and watch the night before Late Late show and whatever else before heading to bed early. Not sure if it is stress, or what, but we always seem to go to bed early and sleep the best out of all week Friday nights

DH and I always cook dinner together and watch movies:) But I am guessing if football is on we will be watching that instead!! I love Friday nights at home with my love:)

We used to go out for dinner and drinks of Fridays...I'm on bedrest so now we watch movies or catch up on the DVR and he cooks dinner, tonight though he is having a diaper party so his mom is coming over to bring me dinner and hangout for a bit.

I don't cook on Fridays so DH takes us to eat dinner somewhere. That's usually about it though..these days it's nothing too exciting but family time is important.

I will spend a few minutes being jealous of your Friday!!! We recently got hooked on suits. Now we can't get any of this season because we don't have cable, and every where we look all of this season is locked!!

This thread just reinforces how lame our Friday nights have become.

We take my FIL to Costco to help him with his grocery shopping. When we get back we take MIL for a walk (she's in a wheelchair). Once we arrive home DH watches Ghost Adventures while I try to stay awake. If I make it through the show we go to our loft and write songs we sing to our cat, Sinatra.

That sure makes me sound like a crazy cat lady....

My DH usually works Friday nights so its usually Dareline and popcorn for me which is pretty lame.

Tonight I took DD to the park and baked a chocolate zucchini cake. So that was fun. And I have the packer game on, but I'm not really watching it.

That's an adorable name for a cat.

Thanks, he was named for his blue eyes. But I can't take credit for it; he was a rescue. : )

I actually had a fun Friday! I went on a booze cruise down the Niagara River with 8 girls from work...not that I boozed, but we danced and it was great to be out with my ladies!! I also dropped this belly like it was hott to applebottom jeans! Lol a sight for sure but worth it!
