Well bright and early had ultrasound no. 2 today. On Monday I was measuring 4weeks6days now Friday measuring 5weeks1day still no defined yolk sac but starting to see what maybe could possibly be it. I attached a picture:
.. waiting on blood work yet again.. never been pregnant before so I don't know if this is normal with slow growing embryo that could catch up or I will miscarry. All the bleeding has stopped.

typically seen by 5.5 gestational weeks
threshold level: MSD 4mm (transvaginal)
discriminatory level: MSD >= 8mm (transvaginal)
(ie. yolk sac should always be seen with MSD >= 8mm TV)
Hope this helps. You are still to early to see the yolk sac. Give it a week and take a deep breath.

IVF #1 = BFP! Twins due 2/5/2014
I'm not sure. My RE wouldn't perform a u/s until 6.5 weeks because in most viable pregnancies a heartbeat is present by then. Hang in there. I agree with PP it's still too early. GL

4 Gonal-F, Cetrotide, HcG, Crinone +TI cycles= all BFN
Lap in 2012 to remove large unresolving cyst discovered endo and double lobed ovary.
6 Gonal-F, Cetrotide, HcG, Crinone IUI cycles= All BFN,
1st IVF w/ICSI- June '13 Antagonist: Gonal-F, Menopur, Ganirelix, HcG, Estradiol, Crinone= 7 retrieved, 4 mature, 1 unfertilized, 2 abnormally fertilized, 1 normally fertilized. 2DT of only embryo and our miracle BFP.
Our beloved baby boy was born sleeping Oct. 13, 2013 due to pROM/IC/Uterine infection.
2nd IVF w/ICSI- Feb. '14 EPP/lupron/antagonist: Estrace, lupron, HGH, Gonal-F, Menopur, HcG, PIO, lovenox, doxy/dex.=21 retrieved, 16 mature, 15 fertilized!! 5dt of 1 blast/ 6 frozen. BFP! Beta 1 9dp5dt:83.9 Beta 2: 11dp5dt: 145.2 Beta 3 14dp5dt: 497 Please be our sticky rainbow baby!

Update: beta 1- 163 beta 2-406 beta 3-1180 (109 hrs doubling) beta 4- 1386 (486 hrs doubling) it will not be a viable pregnancy. I believe it will called the Blithum Ovum.
