I too thought this was going to be a name horror post. There are several things I could say about why I don't like about this, but I'm tired, so I'm just going to go take a nap now instead.
It's exactly the way my 17 month old pronounces his own name, which is Alexander.
Yeah, when I first saw this I suspected it might be a variation of Alexander in some other language, and as it turns out, Skandar (this spelling) is Alexander in Pashto, which is related to Persian. So I wouldn't side-eye it on someone of Central Asian descent, but I think it's a little out there if you're not and you just randomly hear it and decide you like it.
