    DS1 wouldn't stop talking yesterday. He normally talks a lot, but yesterday was non stop. When we were in the car for 10 mins yesterday I turned up the radio for a little quiet time. I should add I turned it up while he was talking. When I got out of the car he was still talking. I don't think he noticed.

    DD has these new Disney princess figurines that she loves. She was playing with them yesterday and handing them to me one by one, then taking them from me one by one to put on the coffee table, then handing them back to me, then back to the table. This went on and on for what seemed like an hour but was probably not more than 10 minutes before I lost my mind, gave her a handful for blueberries to distract her, and hid the princesses. My poor congested head, just couldn't take the game anymore. I feel so bad when I get bored of some of her "games" so quickly.

    We also don't have a gate at the top of our stairs.  We actually have one at the bottom so he doesn't leave the family room unless I want him. too! Ha.

    I took a half day to spend time with my DH and DS.  I left earlier then planned to surprise them.  Well surprise for me! They aren't here.  So I get some alone time.  And am secretly happy. :)

    We own our home but remodeled our kitchen so I know what my cabinets cost so I WON'T drill holes in them! I have a latch over the handles to under the sink where garbage and cleaning stuff is but that's it.

    We also only have a gate at the bottom of the stairs to contain the kids not at the top.
