1) What is your favorite thing about summer? What do you not like about summer? I love the longer days and spending a lot of time at the pool. I hate the oppressive heat though.
2) Read any good books lately? If so, what was it? If not, do you have another hobby you have been interested in? (No, candy crush is not a hobby) The last book I read was Outlander, which was pretty good. I tried to get into the second book, but can't. I need some book ideas.
3) What is the last thing you pinned on pinterest?I think it was Halloween costume idea. Or recipe. Neither one very exciting.
4) AW your kids- what are some cute things they have been up to lately? DS2 has officially started crawling. Boo and yay at the same time. DS1 has started to really take to singing. He sings all.the.time. It's hilarious. Also, the other day he started playing "air guitar" and told me he was jamming out on his guitar. Yes, he said jamming. Maybe I have a future musician on my hands??
5) Have you started thinking about Halloween costume ideas for your kid(s)? If so, what are they?Yes, I have! DS1 keeps saying he wants to be Iron Man or Capitan America, it changes every week. So I think I'm going to dress DS2 up as the Hulk.
6) When is the last time you did something just for you? What was it?Two weekends ago I went for a pedicure and out to dinner with a friends. It was fabulous!
7) Describe your perfect date night. Grandma would take the kids overnight and DH and I would go out for a nice long dinner and then come home and....well...you know....
8) If you were off today, what would you be doing? I would go for a nice long run this morning, then wash up, take a nap, then pick up the kids around 2pm and head to the aquarium.

2) Read any good books lately? If so, what was it? If not, do you have another hobby you have been interested in? (No, candy crush is not a hobby) No, I don't read many books. I choose to use my reading time on the I-net forums.

4) AW your kids- what are some cute things they have been up to lately?DD1 said she wanted to grow up and be a mommy just like me. DD2 is really vain and loves to look at herself in the mirror. It cracks me up.
5) Have you started thinking about Halloween costume ideas for your kid(s)? If so, what are they? DD1 wants to be a super hero or princess. DD2 will most likely be a witch (hand me down from DD1). However, I really want DD2 to be a Kiss Nation costume like Gene Simmons. She won't sit still long enough to do her make-up.
6) When is the last time you did something just for you? What was it? Last week I got Botox.
7) Describe your perfect date night. I want my date to surprise me with a romantic gesture and an activity I have never done before. Like maybe take a helicopter ride over the city, land on a high rise where there is dinner for two, string quartet, waiter and googly love eyes. Then return home and well, you know....Just like the FinancialDivas!
8) If you were off today, what would you be doing? Sleep in, work out, book a massage, catch up on DVR shows and run errands-car inspected, dog groomed
1) The produce! I'm a fruit monster. I don't like the heat and high A/C bills.
2) I love to plan trips. Lately I've been reading guidebooks on Disney World and Disney cruises for our vacation next year.
3) I don't do pinterest or facebook or anything along those lines.
4) DD loves to pretend cook her playdough. She loves to whip up her culinary creation and serve us dinner. I love getting all her kisses. It's also cute when she mispronounces words.
5) For the last 2 years DD has been a Chuggington train. This year she wants to be Lightning McQueen.
6) On Tuesday I finished my motion early, so I did a solo Costco trip by myself before picking up DD. It's a luxury heading to the store without the kiddo.
7) Date nights are very rare for us. I'd take an ordinary dinner and a movie and be thrilled.
8) I'd hit the spa or the mall.

Camping, not having as many after school activities so we can enjoy the evenings and just letting the kids play outside. It can get really hot and humid in WI so then I feel like we are stuck inside. Although it has been a cool summer this year.
2) Read any good books lately? If so, what was it? If not, do you have another hobby you have been interested in? (No, candy crush is not a hobby) I cannot think of a book I have finished recently. I love to scrapbook and my recent obsession is making subway art.
3) What is the last thing you pinned on pinterest? It was an "elf on the shelf" idea.
4) AW your kids- what are some cute things they have been up to lately? The youngest has mastered walking so it is so cute to watch him toddle up to his sisters to check out what they are doing and then babble to then.
5) Have you started thinking about Halloween costume ideas for your kid(s)? If so, what are they? We will be in Disney over Halloween so I have been thinking about princess costumes.
6) When is the last time you did something just for you? What was it? Last week - I got in a pedicure while the girls were getting their haircut.
7) Describe your perfect date night. Just a nice dinner out with my mom taking the kids overnight so I don't have to be up at 7 a.m. with them.
8) If you were off today, what would you be doing? With kids: going to the park and maybe the pool. Without kids: catching up on laundry and getting my craft room organized.

3) What is the last thing you pinned on pinterest? Chocolate peanut butter cake! I'll be making it in a few weeks for a friend's birthday. It looks amazing! I've also been pinning holiday ideas.
4) AW your kids- what are some cute things they have been up to lately? DS is crawling! Which is so much fun to watch, but so challenging to keep things out of his reach.
5) Have you started thinking about Halloween costume ideas for your kid(s)? If so, what are they? Yeah, I'm not 100% sure, but I was thinking of dressing him as a minion from Despicable Me. It'so easy, just a yellow shirt, overalls, and hat. And cute.
6) When is the last time you did something just for you? What was it? I got a pedicure in late June, shopping alone two weekends ago.
7) Describe your perfect date night. An awesome dinner downtown w/champagne, then maybe take a walk or see some live music. Or a picnic on the beach.
8) If you were off today, what would you be doing? It's cloudy today, so maybe something indoors. I've been dying to go to the consignment shop across town, so maybe I'd take him there. Oh, and a nap for sure.
