Happy Friday! Plans for the weekend?

Happy Friday ladies!  I hope you had a good week!

Happy FIRST birthday to mg0202's little J!  Way to go little girl!

Good luck to those TTCing and awaiting results.  T&Ps to those who need them.

M is 41w1d today.  That was how long I stayed pregnant for, so now M has spent the same # of days outside me as he did inside me.  I dunno why, but I get emotional over the littlest thing.

Any plans for the weekend?  Family gathering, or just chilling out?

For us, this is the first weekend in 2 months that we have nothing planned - no obligations.  Yay.  I probably will be doing a couple of grocery shopping trips to restock our pantry.  Otherwise, we'll just play it by ear.  Weather is supposed to be nice this weekend so maybe a picnic?

Have a good weekend everyone!

Re: Happy Friday! Plans for the weekend?

  • Happy bday again to J! Hugs to all. And what a sweet milestone pb.

We don't have much planned this weekend. Some of E's cousins have a football game down the road from us so we will go to that Saturday. I have a bunch of errands I need to run, like returning stuff from E's party that I didn't use, exchanging some stuff that doesn't fit, getting E a straw cup (recommendations anyone??) and of course groceries. And of course the texans preseason game against the saints on Sunday!!

    Have a great weekend everyone.

  • We have a busy weekend planned. I have errands to run, of course and MH has final 7-10 paper due on Sunday. After that only one more class until he earns his Masters!
We are leaving LO over night for the first time tomorrow night. She is going to stay the night with my parents so we can go to the city for dinner and a show that I bought MH tickets for his birthday. I am a little nervous and sad to leave her but I know she will be fine. My mom already watched her 2 days a week and they are really looking forward to having her for the night. Just need to calm my FTM fears!
We also have to stop by our nephews 18th birthday/graduation party tomorrow on our way out of town so lots of running around to do!

  • @Suebee8 GL with your first over-nighter!  I'm sure she'll do great.  It's hard to leave, but once you get there and get into dinner and the show, you'll be fine.  I was really anxious to get back to E in the morning though, when we did our first (and only so far) over-nighter.  Have fun!

Thanks, I'm sure she'll be fine. The only thing I am really worried about is if she makes up during the night and doesn't recognize where she is and gets scared. She normally sleeps so well I don't want this messing things up.

  • Happy Friday!!!  :D I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend! This afternoon we have a pool fence company coming out to give us a quote. I am really looking forward to having this fence, so Grayson can play in the rest of the yard without me standing RIGHT next to him the entire time. He loves to be outside.

Saturday we will be at a CrossFit event all day watching DH compete. We have to be there at 7 am and it's an hour away. It's going to be a long day!

Sunday is a relaxing day. It's supposed to be warm so probably spending some time in the pool. I also want to work on G's room. Since we moved in, we still haven't hung his pictures or shelves.

How in the heck do you get anything done?? I only moved a week and a half ago and my son still isnt in his room. I can't seem to get anything done unless it's after he goes to bed at night and then I want to be super quiet. Having someone attached to my leg or hip doesn't help me unpack :)

I totally get your fear...., I would be the same way BUT....... My LO did sooooooo much better with her 4month shots vs. 2 months. Personally I would've had no issues with a 2 hour trip the next day! But every baby is different so I reccomend the wait and see approach :) have fun!

No idea what to expect with the block party as we've never had one in the three years we've lived here, but excited none the less. Sundays up in the air..... I would like to get to church....DHs former co-worker invited us over (they have a pool!)..... I'm not crazy or this idea- we will see where the day takes us. Have a great weekend ladies :)
