Does anyone have any good unbiased articles or scholarly reading or books that they would recommend on Home Births? DH and I are pretty sure we are going to go with a home birth midwife we interviewed on Monday, however I feel like I should be doing a bit more research on Home Births. I don't think this is hesitation on having a Home Birth, it is just feels like I should invest in doing more research before transferring out of my hospital practice to the CNM. If you havent already watch the documentary "The Business of Being Born" its by Abby Epstein and Ricky Lake. It doesnt so much focus on home birth but out of hospital birth. It is what convinced DH to finally "agree" (not like he had much of a choice but it was nice to make him feel that way) to a homebirth!
