I laughed out loud at #7...I can see myself glaring at him at 2am while he's sound asleep secretly hating him for being able to sleep through EVERYTHING!!!
Yup, these are so true. The most shocking part for me was the extreme crotch pain. I felt like I was dying. Everyone always said, "Once the baby is here you forget all the pain and it is all worth it." Um, worth it yes... Did I forget the pain? Hell no. I felt like I had spread my legs and allowed a hole baseball team to take turns hitting my vag with a baseball bat and then just to make sure it was ruined they lit it on fire.
OMG the CRYING AND EMOTIONAL ROLLERCOASTER!! That was the worst part for me. My parents and little bro came over when DS was 5 days old and I just sobbed for no reason. And my mom kept asking me why I was crying but there was just no way to explain it... Ugh. Those first few weeks and months can be rough.
