I tasted it once out of curiousity. I will also taste it every now and then to make sure it's still good. I think it tastes pretty good.

I expected to taste it often, but for some reason it repulses me. If it was ever questionable (at room temp for 6+ hrs.) I'd smell it or let H taste it but I just couldn't!

My husband would gag at the thought of tasting my breast milk. @Cbeanz I'm impressed your H would.

I taste it when I wonder about temperature or it it's still good. Sometimes I'll have pump a session that might look funny. It still tastes good.

I've tried everything I've ever fed my daughter. If I'm not willing to try it, then why would I expect her to? I've tried my BM, her formula, vitamin drops, antibiotics for her ear infection, and all of her food/puffs.

Both H and I have tasted it,just to see what it tastes like.

I SAH and DS doesn't take a bottle, so nowadays I use my freezer stash to cook DS's oatmeal. I do eat the cooked-in-BM oatmeal if DS doesn't finish it.

I can't even handle the smell of it let alone taste it. DH on the other hand... he can't get enough (only from the tap though... he thinks drinking it from a cup would be gross/weird.)

See and I find anyone but LO drinking from the tap to be weird. BM does not belong in our sexy time...unless it appears by accident. But to each their own.

Haha I find it odd he enjoys it so much, but whatever. We don't have sex all that often so I let him do what he wants for the most part :P

I never tasted it. I don't really like regular milk, so I never felt the need to taste my own. I tried to get DH to do it, he wouldn't!

My DH has tried to get a taste, but my nips are too tortured from pumping/nursing that I don't like them to be part of our bedroom activities. No problem with him asking to taste it, though I would say no to nursing him. That image makes me laugh.

Also I find it interesting that some are adamant against sexualizing breasts the day they begin functioning for their intended purpose.

Like, they're allowed in the bedroom until they're feeding babies? Then you gotta cover them up and not touch? I don't get it…

When I was BFing I kept my bra on while we were DTD but only because I made a ridiculous amount of milk and they would leak everywhere which was a complete mood killer for me.

I'd let him taste it if he wanted to, but I don't think I'd let it be a sexy time thing. I don't think I'd get mad if he asked, and I would probably let him, but then I'd probably end up telling him later how awkward it was and that would be the end of that...

I agree with this. And while I am fine with my breasts being part of sex, though I don't particularly enjoy it, I have never been okay with a guy sucking on my nipples at any point in my life, it has always made me uncomfortable because it is too much like a baby breastfeeding for me.

I totally agree with @LauraT25 here. I have never found it sexy for my H or anyone else to suck at my breasts. I don't cover them up in the bedroom though. I enjoy breastfeeding my son, but its more about the time together, and the cuddles.

Huh. In our BF class the instructor warned us this could happen, so the hubs would be prepared. He's kind of proud of himself if he can make me leaky, the pervert.

DH asked if he could try it pretty early on during our extracurricular activities. I said ok, he did, and that was that. He hasn't asked since. He's not weirded out by it, it's not like he was gulping it down. It was just curiosity. I completely see both sides of the argument here. To each their own.

Sorry I'm late to this since my comment was technically what might have stirred the pot.

DH likes to taste from the tap, sure, buy it's not like he's chugging it down. I've asked him if he's even.getting anything and he says only a little bit. I think my boobs know the difference between DH sucking on them in the bedroom vs. E sucking on them for nourishment. I'm pretty sure they don't letdown at all for DH. It's the smallest bit coming out, so it's not like he's "nursing." The idea of that also makes me uncomfortable. If it gets to the point where it bothers mr or hurts or whatever, he stops, no questions asked. He's also not continuously sucking the whole time, it's just bits here and there, and it's only during extracurricular activities, like I said is minimal around here.

As I said, do I find it odd he enjoys it? Sure. Do I really care? Not really. It just isn't that big of a deal. Sorry I gave probably TMI about it, but I think some of you had crazier scenarios going on in your head and I thought I would try to put it in perspective, KWIM? I'm almost as vanilla as it comes in the bedroom, might as well let the many have a little fun.

@LauraT25 I had a good laugh about that autocorrect at almost 6am when I wrote it. Glad I re-read my response...

Totally understand your points. I wasn't trying to convert anyone or anything lol. Like you said, it was just a clarification. The idea of DH actually sitting there sucking my boob chugging milk is disturbing to me, but what he does now isn't. There is a line I guess, I'm just not sure what that is.
