Where are the forks?

Our forks, knives, and spoons have been going missing in the last few days. Obviously DD is doing something with them, but I have no idea what. She figured out how to open the dishwasher and steals them from there. It's annoying but, meh, they'll turn up eventually. Right? 

So, DH takes out the garbage today. He notices the bag is jingling suspiciously. He opens it and has to dig around in there to discover exactly 4 forks, 2 spoons, and a knife. Awesome. We go through the garbage from the last few days - 7 more forks, 8 spoons, and 3 knives. Garbage day is tomorrow.... that was close. Now I'm wondering what else I've thrown away..... I didn't even know she knew to throw things in the garbage! 

What kind of trouble have your kidlets got into lately?

    Good thing your DH was paying attention!

    I was always glad I didn't have a child who liked to pull toilet paper off the roll and stuff it into the toilet.  That was nice while it lasted!

    Haha DS loves to throw things away. I've found a sippy, his toothbrush, clean diapers, all sorts of stuff in our trash. He also has opened the drawer with like all of our wooden spoons and spatulas and will put them in the big Rubbermaid dog food bin in our pantry. I have to be diligent about keeping the pantry door shut now!

    When our OT was over at our house for a therapy session, my kid took a HUGE chef's knife out of the child-locked dishwasher and ran away holding it when we figured out what he was up to in the kitchen. I now unload the dishwasher every morning before he gets up.

    So crazy!!!

    Nolan has put his peach pit in his dirty clothes hamper twice in the last week. No clue why as he knows how to put them in the compost bin. It was NOT fun reaching into the hamper to pull out the clothes to wash and grabbing a squishy peach pit. Blech!!

    DD as discovered some of her shorts have pockets.. And she likes to pick the new blooms off of the flowers in the yard... I found flowers blooms in the washer and dryer the other day.. Now I get to start adding her pockets to my checks when I do laundry! Little booger! :)

    DD loves to pull the wipes out and drop them all over the floor. The other day I forgot to put the lid back on the Desitin and I came over to find a baby covered in Desitin and wipes all over the floor. I so regret not getting a picture. It was a pain to clean up but it was so cute!

    Both of the older kids stash things behind the couch and shoe rack when they're being lazy and I've asked them to take whatever it is to their rooms.

    DS2 likes to take all of our PS3 games and Wii remotes and scatter them around the living room. It's his new "thing" now that he can crawl.
