I added one family to DS's birthday party this week, but they have older kids - 8, 11, and 15. The other kids coming are all 5 and under. We're doing a superhero party, and the only favor I planned for the little kids is a superhero cape...because I like to torture myself by planning crafty things I don't actually have time for.
I asked the mom of the older kids if the younger two would like a cape (because who doesn't like to play superhero), and she said not to worry with it. So now I'm trying to figure out something for them, as well as the teenage girl.
Any ideas? I hate to just do candy, but the party is Saturday, and my brain is fried from starting my new teaching gig this week.
Re: party favors for older kids
If you really want to do something, can you get $5 gift cards to a local ice cream or frozen yogurt shop? My sister is a teen, she LOVES getting that kind of gift.
