Uses for prefolds other than diapers?

I bought 24 Rearz newborn prefolds. They are so small they would never work for a diaper. Other than kitchen rags, do you guys have any suggestions of uses for old prefolds or prefolds that don't fit anymore?
I am trying to think of creative ways to reuse them. They seem like they would work as burp cloths as well.

    I'm going to blow your mind: I'm using those right now. On a baby. Newborns are small.

    They fit great in a Bummis NB or S size cover. Don't even need a snappi - just tuck in the front and do an angel wing fold.

    After she outgrows them, they'll go back to being change pad covers, and pocket inserts/doublers.

    I put them under LO during particularly messy diaper changes. That way any mess gets on the prefold and goes right in the diaper laundry rather than on the changing pad.

    I love this.  And it's true!  My LO fit in the NB size for about 4 weeks (though I went with GMD prefolds, but I can't imagine the sizing is that different).  FWIW, my LO was 7lb15oz at birth and about 10lbs or so when he outgrew them.

    Since LO outgrew them I've been using them mostly for burp cloths.  We have them all over the house in strategic locations, so the nearly 2 dozen of them that I have doesn't seem like too many for burp cloths.  I have a master spitter-upper though, so we go through a lot.

    I can also imagine I'll use them to stuff pockets as well, but for now I'm happy using the MF inserts.

    Burp cloths, changing pads, milk catchers (I tuck them under my boob when she's nursing so my shirt doesn't get all wet), stick them in your bra when your nursing pads aren't cutting it overnight... 

    Or definitely use them as diapers (we have no problem fitting her in NB prefolds as she was a 5 pounder... still fits in them no prob at 7.5 lbs) and then as doublers/pocket stuffers, and later on for cleaning.
