31 weeks and feeling...off?

I don't really know what's going on with me! I am just feeling so, so off today. My head is spinning, i'm getting super dizzy, I'm getting waves of nausea, hot flashes, and I just feel...off.

I thought it may be dehydration, but I've had 80+oz of water so far, and I'm not feeling better. I've been sitting in a real estate class all day so it's not like I've been running around in the heat. Owen is a wiggling and jiggling per usual so no worries there.

For the past 3 weeks I've had to have my cervix monitored bc his head is right against it and it is slightly shortened, so I can't help but think about PTL since it's been discussed and I've been told to take it easy. I'm having no cramps, bleeding, BHC, or anything of that nature, but I just can't shake the feeling that something is wrong, but then I feel like I'm just being paranoid.

WWYD?

  • Last time, I was at the doctor's office. I was told that if I ever felt really crappy out of no where to call in. I was told that it could be a sign on PreE. I know that you are more thinking of PTL, but I would say it is safer to call and let them know how you are feeling. Maybe they can tell you if the symptoms are worth a visit to L&D or not! I hope you feel better soon!

  • I'm experiencing the same symptoms. I'm actually at home today bc I couldn't stand up without feeling the urge to fall. OB said that turns out I'm anemic and blood is having trouble getting to my brain bc of bad circulation now. Could this be what's going on for you?
  • Unfortunately for me, a few weeks ago and even a few days ago, feeling off was just a normal pregnancy SE. :\ I even almost fainted during birth class. BP was low, but when I went to the doctor the next day everything was normal.

No help here other than to say did you get enough rest lately? My quality of sleep has plummeted and that's seriously what's doing it for me.

  • Sounds like possibly a blood pressure issue. I would get it checked.

  • I felt like that all day yesterday. Today has been much better. I told myself if I was still feeling the same at 10am this morning I was going to call in to the office. Luckily I felt better.

  • I was told that if I ever feel dizzy I need to call the dr or go to l&d. Are you seeing spots in you vision?
  • Feeling 'off' has become my new normal the past couple weeks. Call your dr, but there's a good chance it's nothing abnormal. Hope you're feeling better soon!
