NBR: H is getting a tooth extracted!

H was chomping away on peanuts last night when all of a sudden he was like "um..something's wrong here." He went to the bathroom where he discovered that he had lost part of his tooth!

He went to the dentist today and they told him that it need to be extracted :( I guess the tooth was in bad shape anyway so there's no saving it.

Then he'll have to get a bridge or implant (prob bridge, because implants are way more expensive) but I feel terrible for him that he will, for a short period of time, be missing a tooth! It's not a front tooth (thankfully) but it's like 4 or so back from the front, so its visible if he fully smiles. Ugh, this sucks..

    ooh that sounds painful.
    My BIL once bit into a peach and half of his front tooth chipped on the pit.
    he was a sight for sore eyes!

    My DH had a tooth extracted a few years ago and still does not have an implant....It annoys me to no end, because I am a stickler about oral health and no way in hell would I walk around with a missing tooth.  Luckily, it is pretty far in the back, so you can't really see it, but I'm still hoping he comes to his senses and gets an implant at some point.
