Pregnant :) Excited/CONFUSED!!!

Hi All, sorry, i'm not quite sure where to post this.

My DD was born 8/19/12. DH & I started trying for #2 in July. I had not gotten my period yet and started bleed from Aug 6th - Aug 9th. I took a preg test this morning and it was positive, which confuses me because my ovulation days would have been the 16th - 21st of August. Could I get a pos test this early? I still nurse and that is why I didn't get my period for so long. Also I miscarried before DD, so I am wondering I had an early miscarriage on those dates and is it just coming positive now or was that implantation bleeding? My mind is reeling and I am going to call my Dr, and get in there, but my main question is if I just ovulated and became pregnant could it already be showing positive that quickly? The Dr's office is going to be a blast because I won't know 100% if that was implantation bleeding or that was my period? But we are sooo excited Thanks so much for any info you have!

I've never temped I've always just followed what they say online for when you usually ovulate based on when my last period was. So I assumed the bleeding from Aug 6th - 9th was my period and that is why I'm assuming I've ovulating now/just ovulated. I've felt pregnant for a few days now, so I decided to take the pg test this morning and it was very faint but positive. Just took a 2nd one and another faint positive. The more I read the more it sounds like I would have ovulated early or maybe that bleeding was implantation bleed or of course our worst fear that we miscarried and it is only showing pregnant now! Ughhh.... I was so excited at first, but am getting more and more nervous! I just hope the Dr's have some answers, to help, but it will probably be more waiting! Thanks

That is pretty confusing. I would assume 8/6-8/9 was your period but that would mean you were on CD17 right now, so I don't know how you could possibly get a positive pregnancy test on CD17; you'd have to O on like CD3 or something. And if you O'ed when you think you did, it would be way too early to show up positive. So that could have been implantation bleeding from 8/6-8/9 I guess? Was it really heavy? I'm sure your doctor will be able to clarify.
