A coworker/friend had twins this month knowing that one would not make it. One of the girls is okay but the other passed away a week later (a week longer than they thought they had).
What in the world do I write in their card? They are happy to have a new baby but so sad to lose the other one. I have no idea what to write.

Maybe do 2 cards. One "Congrats" card on the birth of the twins, and one "Sympathy" card for the loss.
When my bro & SIL lost their first baby, I made it a point to not forget him. They asked for donations to the medical centre they were at instead of flowers, so I still donate to that twice a year, and it means the world to SIL. I guess what I'm saying is to acknowledge both sides of their feelings.
I also think @melandjames14 made a great suggestion.
