I'm assuming this is normal, yes? DD had shots yesterday and today she has a 102 fever and is pretty lethargic. It just isn't normal to see her so inactive.
Lethargic to me would be eyes kinda spacey, not very responsive, not moving much... If she's like this take her in for sure. If she's just clingy and tired with a fever, I'd say its normal.

I'm giving Tylenol every 4 hours. She's perked up some now and is eating, so that's a good sign. I had to pick her up from daycare because she was inconsolable.

This is exactly how she was for about an hour. She would just lift her head and look at me, and then she'd lay it back down. She had a really glazed over look. That's why I was curious if others experienced this because her ped said it wasn't a worry unless it lasted through tomorrow.
DS had his shots Monday and had a slight temperature when I picked him up yesterday (around 100). His temp got up to 102.5 this afternoon, I'm hoping tonight is it. He has been a little off, not napping well, clingy, whiney...but that's it.
Motrin is every 6-8 hours.

This was the same for us, but the temp only lasted through yesterday. Today she seems back to her usual spunky self.

@latnprincess, I think she's ok. Thanks for asking. I have terrible, terrible mommy guilt, though, and I've been crying since I got to work.
I woke her up at 7:15 b/c when I texted my DCP that she was still sleeping and I was going to let her sleep it off (she'd been sleeping since 7:00 last night), she said "don't let her sleep too long b/c it will mess up her naps and the other kids' naps today" -- I understand that completely, but then I felt pressured to wake her up. So, I did. MOTY.
She was still warm (101) which is normal, so I gave her some Motrin. She scarfed down her oatmeal which is great because she hardly ate anything yesterday.
She seemed ok when I dropped her off, but she also seemed ok yesterday morning when I dropped her off.
Today and tomorrow are the craziest days of the entire year for me at work and I have a doc appointment today at 12:30 over lunch, so I felt so horrible that I took her to daycare.
awww! @WhtRssnGrl it will all be OK!! She will be just fine - she might just take some longer naps at daycare and hopefully get some snuggles from your DCP. I'm glad to hear that she scarfed down her oatmeal this morning - that's a good sign! Try not to worry too much...and if you have to leave work to pick her up, so be it. Or could your DH pick her up?
@tapthathank, thanks for the positivity because I feel like an asshole. DH can't pick her up because he has a truck with two seats only, but I don't mind picking her up if I have to. One of the nice things about being a salaried employee is that I can leave early and not have to mark it as time off.
That is frustrating to be the only one who can pick up if she is sick! I really think the eating a lot this morning is a sign that she is on the mend!
Mom guilt is the worst. I would have sent DS to daycare too....and then felt guilty all day. Just call your DCP to check in a couple times - it will make you feel better to know how she is doing!
How many shots was she given that day? Just curious. One of our main concerns with vaccinations is how overwhelmed their little bodies get when given multiple shots in one day. We worked with our Pedi to come up with a modified vaccination schedule which basically spaced out the shots. Maybe this is something you could bring up? It gave us peace of mind. I hate the mommy guilt too!

She had two shots: her final pneumonia shot and the chicken pox shot. I'm thinking it was the cp shot that got her because she never had issues with the previous 3 pneumonia shots.
